Stealing aggro'd mobs in a "kite" - do you think this is against ToS?

If you want the luminary tool you need to "level" it again

1) It was not claimed
2) I was able to attack it, so I feel it's free for all at that point and
3) If you're pulling 8 mobs at a time, you can afford to let someone have one.

Some may say it's not "nice" to kill one in the train, but my thoughts are that it's greedy to take them all in the first place. What are your thoughts?

Who was there first? Them? Then yes it's a bit discourteous, there are other mite camps, go find one. Definitely not ToS violation.

true, i don't really want to grind out achievements for some fancy tool.....unless that tool happens to be lu shang's fishing rod in which case i can ponder how it got to the relm of eorzea, while i grind.

If you were there first and the exp party didn't send you a tell asking you to not take one mob from their train, I think you're fine.
I don't think what you were doing was against ToS as others have also mentioned.

I wish you were on Wutai... I have more webs from crafting leves then I know what to do with @_@ & I don't get much exp (maybe 38 exp) from turning them to thread anymore.

There seems to be this common belief that people "own" monsters in an MMORPG. If it is not claimed. It is fair game.

As well, being able to attack, and therefore take the claim of another person's mob is part of approved design. Not one that I agree with, but here you have the results of it.

It not violate the Tos. If u took it from a train they are partially claimed by them since links and aggro don't show claimed. If they were first then i would call it rude from your part

Monsters are there for everyone. No one owns them, so claim what you need and there should be no problems.
No one can say "My exp is more important than your items," or "My items are more important than your exp."
As long as everyone is polite and not purposely trying to aggravate each other, it's not against the rules.

If I see someone heading towards a monster to grab it, I leave it be and grab another.

nope, just make you an a$$ but legal.

Riding a chocobo just gathers then faster. Its not PL-ing. If they are in range for that certain mite camp, I would have went to a different mite camp. 2 minute walk at most. Why fight over mobs when you don't have do.

NOW sheep camps.. only 3.. really? wth SE. 5 fleece to make 3 cloth? dpn't get me started on the woolen yarn...
