Our Balmung house was a medium in Mist, so not a downgrade for us. Just a new location. I haven't explored the neighborhood yet, just the grounds and the house. Hopefully we're close to a MB.

While the devs can certainly work on the housing, I severely doubt the devs are looking to personally hurt people with the housing system. People need to chill and take care of themselves and their mental health not some game company.
It is absolutely ridiculous to hype yourself up like that and set yourself up for disappointment and then feel like a company personally hurt you. Yeesh.
Finally a good answer. The guy is just happy to get his house and all the community is using him as scapegoat. There is nothing wrong with this thread.
"He got his house at the expensse of everyone else" yeah, so? Everyone who got a house in this game done the same. You going to criticize everyone who owns a house in this game too?
They certainly could've timed this thread better. They brought the backlash on themselves really. I know full well the OP isn't at fault here, but posting about how you got a house at this moment is just rubbing salt in an open wound for a lot of people, and I understand their reactions to the OP completely.
And now the retainers bring good housing stuff like Paissa House Walls x)
Aye, like i stated in my reponse earlier in this thread. I have no hard feelings towards OP. I just dont feel right to post such a thing on patchday when 90% of the people wanted a house was skimmed on it due to either lag, login errors etc
I'm happy for OP to get a house but making a post to "brag" about it wasnt the best way to go about it. Honestly, why did we need to know about it really?
It's extremely difficult to tell from text if someone is sincere though, with the timing and the outrage of a feature a lot of players simply can't experience, you're going to get their scorn and rightly so. There are so many on this forum that like to poke fun at the anger of others that you're just not going to get anyone who will take any positivity here as genuine.
If the OP does mean well, congratulations, you got lucky and can enjoy content a lot of players would love to experience, for that I am genuinely happy for you. As for me I'll happily continue enjoying the game in other areas and hoping one day to be able to get a house for me and my FC. I'm not happy about the outcome but I'm hardly going to start throwing my dummy out of the pram because of it, hopefully it will get addressed but I won't hold my breath too long.
I salute you for this post. Really!
Though I can relate to the sad and disappointed feeling some might have right now, I still find it terrible to get mad at the people who were lucky enough to get a house and are understandably happy about it now.
Nobody needs to feel guilty or bad for having a bit more luck that others do, tbh. What happens here is simply shaming the OP and it's so sad to watch..
'I didn't get a house, so everyone who got one has to be a bad person!'
'I didn't get a house so no one should have gotten one!'
'I'm sad and angry now, so other people aren't allowed to feel good!'
That's kinda what I'm reading in most of the comments here. Envy and jealousy, simple as that.
If you wanna be angry, be angry at SE for not giving us enough plots, but not at the ppl who got houses.
Do you know about them? They might have worked hard for their house too. They might have been up all night too or didn't get any sleep the days before the patch because they were so invested in the idea of getting a house for themselfes or their Fc.
And now, they don't deserve to be happy because...SE didn't make enough plots available?
We knew this all before. We knew that there would be a, well, 'battle' for the houses. There were jokes and memes about this shortly after the SB release.
So don't let your anger out on the wrong people. Please. It won't get you anywhere.
