Agreed on all points, and I think a very important detail is lost here in the detailed ranting. This is a 1.0 failure.

Can I have your stuff ?
heh i expose a legit house flipper with clear evidence and they delete my thread.
why spend any time or energy in this game when integrity and morals are woooooooooooosh gone in the wind
puff puff pass
"why should square enix apologize for their awful implementation of content? they never promised they'd implement it well"
yeah almost as if getting my hopes up was the point of all the heavy advertising and showing off of the shirogane stuff and marketing that as part of that expansionQuote:
YOU got your hopes up and are dissapointed
no im notQuote:
You're a grown married man
about to cry because i am excluded from content and experience that are part of the game that they advertise and talk up, and was excited to have that shared experience with my wife and now im denied getting to have that experience with my wife that i was looking forward to.Quote:
about to cry over housing in a video game.
Well, what they could have done to fix it was this:
~Only FC's can buy medium/large houses.
~Small housing is FC or private housing availability.
Hmmm I understand that SE wants housing to be rare. But I feel like it is either too rare or too cheap. One of those should've been different to balance offer/demand.
I've manage to get my housing this patch in the location I wanted though not my preferred ward/division. I actually had a fair amount of time to run around and be picky if I wanted but I was so worried I just went with the absolute safest option possible (ward 9 subdivision). But it came with a lot of preparation (rehearsed all my moves multiple times with post-its on my screen for dialog clicking positions and selection + confirmation macros I had made) and an uncomfortable amount of luck. And I feel like luck should not be a factor.
I updated the game overnight, then I was refreshing the launcher by going into world then back to the play button. I must've logged in within 20 seconds at most of the servers being back up, used the post-its on my screen to tell me where to click to log my character in even before things displayed on my screen. STILL got a server full message and a queue of 65. That's insane. I mean sure some people will be faster, have faster computers, or connections. but a full server worth. Crazy.
I actually had a lot more wiggle room once in game than I thought but only realized that after I bought my plot. Even now I still can't get over the fact I was queued in a full server despite all the prep. It was just insane.
SE, if your housing sells within the first 30mn of launch it's one thing. But if everything disappears in under 10 (I think all mediums and larges were gone within like 5mn on Faerie). Then you done screwed up.
just did the math and just as an example (tho my stats may be out of date) there are 194 times as many characters on balmung as there are housing plots
balmung isn't the highest population server either
on something like brynhildr there are about 300 times as many characters as housing plots
when you start looking at these stats it becomes very clear just how fucked this supply is. its a drop in the bucket compared to the needs of the server
Probably no, for sure.
Just unsubbed. Reason "Not interested in playing anymore." There was no "3 years dealing with the same housing problem".
When they come with a solution I come back.
$-120 less dollars for them per month while it lasts. From me and my girlfriend. But hey, they don't care about the english forums so they won't care for english money right?
I won't unsub until I finished the content but once I am done, I will probably unsub as well.
