mmm, but then, shouldn't the spear duration be brought up to 30sec? Unless crit is that good I dunno...

Every thirty seconds you can draw. Chain Strategem is 15 seconds every two minutes. Yours lasts 30 (or 20 full seconds and even that you can enhance. The uptime is much greater. You have issues with mana? Get better mana magement then. You after all also have MP utility. If you can't see how OP Astrologian is, then I don't know what to tell you. Can you shield and heal at the same time he asks. Can you shit out 14k Physick IIs as well?
Ast now: eat crit food and you get a auto ast skill for 30min >.>
To all the people saying AST is useless again, take this into consideration:
You still heal as much as a WHM, you still mitigate for more than a SCH, and you now bring even more utility than before, simply at a lower level.
Meanwhile WHM can't bring any raid utility at all, and Chain Strategem is in a long CD.
You can actually count Balance being nerfed as a buff, because his you won't be throwing away every Spear/Arrow you get as "trash". You'll actually have more uptime in buffs in general.
So when the ASTs were bitching in HW about how bad they were doing, it's fine, but when we get nurfed to the floor, it's completely legit.
Get over yourself.
