I understand and respect that you like your elezen as she is. However, the reason why I refuse to believe it is because all the artwork ive ever seen of them doing female elezen does not make them look like this.

I also dont want elezen to turn into another anime waifu race. It's what I appreciate about elezen. Their height, their lady-like faces. I just want a bit more normalized head to body ratio.

Tbh, Im not exactly happy with any race. I just swap once every while when I cant take these flaws anymore.
I love elezen,but I can only tolerate the the body-head ratio for so long before I cant stand it anymore. I love catgirls and used to main one for the longest time, but I've grown tired of them and I just feel a bit too much like a living anime teenage girl.
I love Au Ra but they have this empty gaze...its hard to make their eyes look somewhat vivid. Lalas are just too cute to identify myself with although i find them adorable, femroes are just too masculine and chunky for me and hyur/normal human races just never
really interested me because they have no interesting features(e.g. elven ears, aura scales, cat ears, tails etc...). I am however an elven lover and always have been, so it IS quite a struggle for me that I would like to play Elezen because I feel it would be my identity but the proportions just throw me off after a while. And I just think that, while ofc theres people who share your opinion, there are quite a few people who would share my opinion too....because you keep seeing people who say they would love to play elezen IF IT WASNT for their proportions. And if SE wanted to, there would be several options to fix this without upsetting players like you:

Be it some slider additions whenever they will update character customization, be it a third elezen clan thats just a bit more petite maybe or an actual new half-elezen race,kinda like Hilda is.

I feel like the crossbreed race would probably be the best option on all fronts. Taller and more elegant than the normal Hyur, but with with more 'standard-issue' hyur proportions. It would be able to fill the niche people want the Elezen changed to, without needlessly screwing over people, like myself, who do not want changes.Hopefully it would also have a unique running animation, as I know plenty of people hate both the Elezen run and the Midlander run.

I think elezens are fine as they are. I play a male elezen and my friend plays a female elezen and both of us are content with them. I won't say no to additional customisation, of course, but I don't see what the big deal is, either.

If you want to say that some clothes don't look good on them, then the same can be said to pretty much every non-hyur race. I love my femroe, but I dislike the broad shoulders and macho arms, so I tend to hide them. Every race has its "problems". For example I personally really dislike male miqo'te default stance and male elezen change poses and just the general look and animations of both au ras, but I don't make a big deal out of it and just work around the negative by concentrating on the positive.

They held a poll for this a very long time ago, I can scarce remember the consensus but I think most people were more interested in a new race rather than playing jigsaw with the current ones.

Paying close attention to Garlean's though (Eula van Darnus & Nero). They have have Elezen qualities (Height, arm length) while sharing some aspects from a Midlander's appearance and it would be nice to have something like that down the line.

Male Elezens are the best males in my opinion.

The females have pretty faces and I like their standing poses, but the tiny heads, massive shoulders and giraffe necks kill it for me.

In all honesty, I never really noticed the necks. People's perceptions of beauty astound me.

As for the general topic on proportions: I just refuse to believe that female elezen were meant to look this weird because male elezen are perfectly fine. they do NOT have heads that are too small or shoulders that are too broad.
They look PERFECTLY FINE. Why would the females be an exception to that. It was already mentioned before that they did a poor job on some of the faces too. Who is say that their proportions werent messed up too?

This is another problem with these type of threads. People personally attacking people who disagree with them. 1st something is wrong with me, then you say I and another person can't read. Later on you include another person with the same insult. You seriously need to chill out and concentrate on your idea not the persons behind theirs.

I like Elezen the way they are and don't want a single thing to change about them :)


To me the pros of being Elezen outweigh the cons. And even then, the cons don't even bother me that much.

I think Elezens look lovely and look great in almost every glamour.

I can definitely understand why others have issues with them though.
