This is true. It's based on the moment you enter queue.

Tanks was never the problem (on my server), problem was to many DPS was queuing cause everyone play that rn
So Adventure in Need will 99% of the time be tanks
aka only tanks will get the clusters

Why not add it was a daily reward for just using the DR so everyone can get 1?

Hate to tell you, but that's exactly the point.

People will level tanks to get free materia, thus reducing the dps:tank ratio and increasing queue speed. Giving it to everyone literally defeats the point.

When entering the dungeon the Adventurer in Need is locked yes.
But if it changes while you're queued and not yet entered you won't get the In Need bonus.

Flawless, so a reward for tanks only. Not sure why they even bother calling it an adventurer in need. Just auto drop it in tanks inventory and call it a day. What a joke.

I just did adventurers in need with my astro once it needed healers as well.

Even right now healers are needed.

I haven't seen healer as adv. in need for prolly 6 months. DPS never.

role in need rewards are not limited to once each day like the normal roulette reward. You get it everytime you do roulette as the role in need.

Role in need reward is for every role that have a shotage at the moment of queuing. It is not always tanks, but also healers or DPS if they have a shortage. The system is also ingame since ARR, 4 years before SB. And a increase of the reward was overdue since 4 years (the gil reward is not really rewarding)
