I am going to quote this again to make sure OP reads. Jesus, i hope you have an idea how much workload it is to balance difficulty for different levels... I'd rather them work on new contents.

You are an idiot .. you can't see anything but your own small minded view.
It's an easy way for the development team to recycle content not to necessarily compete against other end game content but for the 30-40 and 40-45 gapping hole that has nothing else to do but grind in XP parties.
You got Superior gear from Ifrit, funny I thought he only dropped weapons.
To the post above me I'll say it again this game is designed with level scaling in mind, basically how guild leves work should work on all monsters even bosses, perhaps with some minor tuning.
Its not stupid if my suggestion is partially implemented to xiv already.
Ifrit has normal and hard modes and Guild Leves have multiple difficulties.
it wouldnt need excess balancing, all it is, is changing mob levels. ifrit fight already has different difficulties, all i want is this to be implemented to all dungeons.
If being an narrowminded idiot is the people who don't want time and effort wasted on something that probably won't even be played or used a week after releasing are called, then yes I am. (If you need explanations as to why having multiple versions of a fight that don't drop/give anything and then one real fight is bad and wasteful, then you can be the idiot and I can just be narrowminded.)
WoW's dual modes of difficulty for the raids still require you to be 85 to do them. Don't think you are going to see level 1 deathwing fights anytime soon. The scale of which this thread is asking is ridiculous and a huge waste of time that could be better spent on other things like, I don't know, overall improving gameplay that DOES affect EVERYONE?
Also what armor drops am I looking for that can actually have materia and or are good? Already have siphai turban btw.
Which is why a primal fight is not a guild leve, which I stated pages ago. If SE wanted primal fights to be instanced guild leves they could have, but they didn't. Why? Because they wanted a hyper mode only fight for what they consider to be a god. Why are you asking them to redo and remake everything they've done so far incorrect lorewise, easier, and killable by everyone?
Ifrit doesn't really have different difficulties. The first contest against Ifrit is purely a story driven quest. Not a repeatable selectable difficulty.Quote:
The ifrit fight, and Guild Leves both have different difficulties, so why not apply Difficulty settings to all dungeons?
Ifrit doesn't have difficulty settings, DH would have to be at your "max" level and would have to drop new gear that wouldn't be inferior to materia gear for people to want to do it as a raid, otherwise you are just turning DH into an XP camp so why would devs do that when xp camps already exist?
You don't make any sense, you are just stating what you want as you want it with no regard as to what is actually good for the game as it is. Maybe once 2.0 has been out for a year then they can start working on this "Scalable Content" thing you so desire but the devs have already stated that events leading up to the release of 2.0 are planned out. I don't see any reasonable way to add "your" idea into this game any time soon.
