FFXIV major NA news release: Chocobo's and Airships (why?)

Lol, you're lucky there isn't more coverage on the game.

Or do you want the world to know that:

-Collision detection totally removed
-All mobs grotesquely enlarged
-The UI is still a mess
-Targetting is still a mess
-Combat is still a mess
-Lag is still a mess
-Crafting system oversimplified to the point of stupidity
-Jump still not implemented
-No new story quests added, leaving players hanging for over a year with unresolved scenario quest that wasn't even put together very well in the first place
-sidequests with no voiceacting (rofl fail)

Honestly, barely a single thing has been added to the game beyond two instanced dungeons and a bunch of settlement things.

We haven't had a real update since Tanaka's November update.

Mobs being enlarged isn't a problem
...I dont see the problem with the UI
I target just fine
combat is still being improved
lag will be improved
crafting system will be a matter of opinion and personal preference
jump is the least of people's problems
I agree there should have been at least an R50 quest added. I also understand things were being saved for a level cap increase.
Sidequests with no voice acting is NOT a problem. Unless reading is hard for some, sucks to be them.

Sidequests not being voiced isn't an issue, but it would be nice if "big" quests like main story, job, and company quests were fully voiced. I'm starting to detract my original statement. Going through static animations and text really IS too FFXI and immersion-breaking for me.

The NPCs don't even try to look interested in you when they talk to you. I haven't been impressed by a single sidequest and that's a huge problem.

Well if there's a big potential market for players who will be satisfied with bare minimum crap, then I guess FFXIV really does have a shot after all.

The game is still in development. I'm hoping even after all the major changes you're gone when it goes to P2P. Can finally be rid of your annoyance.

I agree with PP pretty much 100%, people are nitpicking and complaining just to complain most of the time.

and really is it that hard to go play something else while the game is being fixed/improved? I see some people act like they have a gun to their head and are being forced to play this game 24/7.
