New Jobs coming! Which is right for you?

I'm looking forward to DRK the most. I'm not interested in the "dark knight" part of it as much as I'm interested in the Two-handed Sword, caster-tank aspect. My favourite parties in Final Fantasy I usually has a Redmage as the front-line tank, so this interpretation of Dark Knight feels very much like something I could enjoy. In any case, I have a hard time not being in the thick of it, no matter which job I play. Might as well be on a job where people aren't angry at me when I pull threat first :P

Time will tell if it's the job that will "stick" to me, though. In the end, I plan to level everything to 60.

YOU! HOW COULD YOU! :) But in all honesty if machinist is implemented well it may become my new main from brd, and ive been brd since 1.0!

Machinist I will try, it sounds like a physical version of arcanist blended with archer, which sounds like it could be fun. This might be my preferred DPS class - but it will have to out do Bard to Become that.

Dark knight I will try, it depends on how it plays and how dark the lore is. I don't like the dark side of the force - so to speak.

Astrologian - no thanks, I really dislike astrology and consider it little more than cold reading based on superstition. The inclusion of tarot cards just drives this further into the "not gonna play" category for me.

Warrior has always been a 'waiting room' class for me until Dark Knight, even before Dark Knight was announced, before I knew it'd be a tanking class or anything.

Loved it to death in FFXI, preferred Great Swords infinitely over Scythes. So the weapon choice for 'em in this game is feeling pretty good right now.

Even if Dark Knight is wrong for me- I'll just have to settle with never being right.

That said, I really hope the class lore doesn't go along the lines of 'Tap into the bad feels and feel bad all the time!' I liked that they weren't over-emotional sob stories in FFXI, Dark Knights just did what they had to do and didn't expect to get any medals for it.
