Cerberus DPS Method - It Needs To Be Said. . .

Sousoulsu, I get the feeling that perhaps you're looking at things a bit too literally to really get the point of anything I say. Missing the trees for the forest, as it were.

The civility was never gone, and if it were, it'd have been far more obvious. But this doesn't call for that now, does it? And whether or not I like attention, you certainly go out of your way to give it to me regardless. on Masamune server it is a known standard that alliance A always goes into the belly while alliance C handles the wolfbane.

only need to do belly phase 1 time before it gets zerged down.

i like this method because it's a lot more organised and much cleaner..

benefits of being on a JP server it seems.

Yea, JPs have a very systematic way of running things - each alliance stick with the same job every single run with alliance B always being the MT on all bosses since like CT1.

Here on NA server, it is more like whoever shouts/calls what does what and which ever tank hits hardest/get most hate MT and don't be surprised when OT steals hate and AOE everyone.
Adds tends to run loose alot while all the tanks tunnel visions and fight over hate on the boss.

I was on Mandragora and moved over to NA server, my JP isn't that great to be having much convos with the JPs

Honestly, in most of all the times I've gone into WoD doing the "all dps in the belly" method, I've seen them pretty much go the same rate as B:Belly A:whatever C:whatever.

Only two times since WoD has come out have I seen Cerberus die before the second open fetters chains stage. One of them had people caster LB the second belly.

More often than not I see only one person or no people doing the chains and I end up being one of the ones to chain it no matter what alliance I'm in @_@

Sending all DPS in if one of the two OTs can grab the Wolfsbane is fine. If neither of them can, then... well... things are going to get pretty sketchy regardless, but it's better to have at least a few DPS wailing on the adds than them going around slaughtering the healers. I personally never go in because I'm a scumbag MNK who refuses to lose his GL stacks even for 30% damage on the boss. They can do it without me, my stacks are my life. :'V

To be fair, when this part works, this makes chains easier (or SHOULD atleast) because the healers on C should know not to heal/DoT the chain people. A free for all can make it a bit harder simply because a random healer can accidently screw a chain person over because they didn't know they were goin for it.

Really, this part is the one that makes ABC just as good as All DPS IMO.

Yeah. If I go in as PLD, I usually end up MT'ing. I pull him way back close to the far wall where the chains are and just grab one of them myself if I don't see people going for them immediately. Another thing I've seen a few times is people trying to wait for the absolute last second to attach them (to get the "free dps" while he's curled up on the floor) and then wiping the party because they screw it up by waiting too long. I'd rather give up a few seconds of DPS and know that he's not going to rip our faces off.
