Idea to stop resetting hunt mobs!

If someone pulls, you can still stand there and wait for your party members, no one is stopping you from doing that, so how is your waiting disrupted if someone pulls? And as for me pulling early, if you could actually retain what you read, you would see that it was 5 or 6 minutes after I found the mark before I pulled, the mob wasn't looking for it, or they would have been there already, so I owe nothing to a group of people that do nothing for me, I simply waited until there was enough people there to take it down, greed is expecting your group to get credit for everything, even the things your group had no part in finding, and wasn't even looking for in the first place.

I never said it was but unless I'm mistaken Stealth at level 50 will conceal you from Marks as they're level 50, unless it's like 1.0 where 'Notorious Monsters' were exempt from Stealth. I haven't tried but I definitely will give this a go next time I find a mark wandering around. Stealth at level 20 shouldn't protect you from level 50 monsters either... Under any circumstances. I thought it was broken in XI that Invisible and Sneak worked on monsters much, much higher than you.

True, but it'd be silly to stand around on Miner or Botanist with people fighting a mark. You can change jobs and join the melee or wait a little until they're done. You wouldn't run into the heat of a battle waving your hatchet and expect to live in any other game!

Exactly! I truly do miss the danger in Eorzea. I miss 1.0 having beasties that could one shot you. It's a shame that the difficulty of the open world was watered down to such an extent and it's even more of a shame that the first monsters in A Realm Reborn capable of doing this are dead within moments of spawning.

What is so thrilling about being one shotted? Sure, it may be fun when you start out, but once you get to the max level and just want to get to point A to B, either you're going to get sick of your trips being bogged down by forced "random battles" or you'll just teleport everywhere and render the whole point moot.

Yes no leashing and add tons of sand giants. Yes.. Yessss..

I'd rather have it autokill the person with the most threat that resets it. Autokill function does not apply if not claimed though, meaning people that happen to body agg and run it far enough to reset (it's still neutral) will not be killed. Won't stop trolls completely, but at least it'll be enjoyable for others to watch.

I dont get why people reset. You got there too late? Be a good loser and walk out.

Primarily for 3 reasons:

1) They can.
2) Under the pretense that they're doing something good for "everyone" by allowing their specific group time to achieve full credit, thus "everyone" gets full credit.
3) Trolls.

Choose whichever applies, if all do not.

most of the time the horde gather to the mark within 1-2 mins, this make me wonder peeps came very slow for S rank.

So many of the sheep mob are lazy, and don't actually look for marks, they wait for others to find them, so it's getting to where if it's not peak time, the sheep hear about the mark 3rd or 4th hand, and a decent sized group of people that found it, their FC, and others in the general area have already gathered before they even know it's up.
