Let hunt monsters follow you everywhere ( until you zone/teleport etc). This may spark some trolling by some people but at least it would stop resetting mobs for selfish reasons.

Will never happen, and is a terrible suggestion to counter resetting.
The easiest fix for this.. is to simply let it go to the person 2nd in aggro, once the person in first strays too far. If the 2nd person tries, it moves along to the next in line..
That's all they need to do, imo. If they wanted to be even more harsh, if they stray too far.. it drops their contribution etc.

How about anyone who runs from a Hunt monster and causes it to leave their territory gets one shot as it resets. People will think twice about resetting if they'll lose their own credit.
Mobs resetting is to stop trolling in the first place. You don't want people dragging mobs to sanctuaries to attack players minding their own business
a way to solve this whole issue might be a bit drastic but it will work is when the NM is first attacked a pop up appears for everyone in zone asking if they want to fight the NM and the NM is invincible until the players who said yes are attacking it the pop up will have 30 secs or it just assumes the player said no
Every time a mob gets reset, the people who just got there are happy, the people already there are upset.
Every time a mob gets pulled early, the people already there are happy, the people running there are upset.
No matter what change they make, it is a no-win for SE. For the average person, you'll find yourself in either situation often enough anyway.
This suggestion isn't too great, either, unfortunately. The reason why it leashes is to prevent people from dropping these mobs on innocents, sure, but the reason it's HP resets is to prevent people from taking advantage of leashing to kill things they shouldn't be able to.
I've always thought leash areas for monsters was kind of small to begin with.
I kind of like this one.
What if they made Enmity of Hunts based on the activity of the attacker? That way the Elite Mark would only focus someone actively attacking/gaining enmity on it versus following the runaway/kiting troll trying to reset it. In conjunction, they'd simply stop Elite Marks from aggroing nearby non-attackers. It'd probably require some work from the programmers, but I don't see any cons to it.
So I'll be a martyr to the hundred people about to arrive? They shall sing my praises as those who would pull early curse my name.
Very easy solution, you reset, you have to wait five minutes before being able to rejoin. By then, the mob will be long dead. So think carefully before trolling. Though the resetting thing is good encounter to deal with those trigger happy playersPersonally SE really need to adjust this hunt reward ratio, as it is now, it is extremely great for the little amount of time you put in.
