You talk like concept > design > build > test > cleanup is something that happens overnight. You realize most of this content they're adding has probably been in development since 2.1? Dungeons specifically I mean, they aren't going to just up and design you a brand new raid just because you ask for it overnight for no reason. You have coil, you have crystal tower, they update them and add more in an alternating fashion every single major content patch. Get off your high horse or get out.
You seem to think you're so well informed and knowledgeable about what does and doesn't make an MMO good. Go make one yourself and get as many subscribers as FFXIV has, clearly you know better than Square-Enix or any other company does!

I wouldn't say this patch is casual, lol. Tons of stuff to do, collect, Brutal Coils, achievement in Frontlines to get the mount, multiple sets to get in Syrcus, intensive gardening, money to make to furnish your toom ... its probably the best patch since the release of the game tho
My little finger hint that Savage coils is actually a testbed to see how far SE can actually push in term of difficulty -
