The new Allagan set of items needs to have a small customization option.

Its nothing near the same. New tome gear is 10 levels lower. You should care, because o noes you won't have more health to eat plumes for Titan HM!

I did T1-T4 in AK gear mostly. As for combining two gears together, that is fine if they were the same ilvl. You have to understand in FFXIV main stat is king and you won't be able to even it out with secondary stats. The rest of your post I can't relate to as I honestly don't understand the point you are trying to make.

Check loot tables of Coil. Then you know the reason. Healer glovers drop in turn 1. Body in turn 4. Legs in turn 5. Thery are buying stuff that is harder to get because it drops very late in coil.

I am not set against it, I would welcome it, but the thing is its not going to happen, if they dev team wanted customisation at end game it would already be in the game.
Also shouldn't a suggestion like this go in the feedback forums ?

Didn't I read they are remaking the materia system ?, maybe your hope lies there.

Just like when ppl did coil with DL
And not CT.
I like eating plumes just like i will like eating whatever gilgamesh and leviathan have to offer.
Time to make my own stupid strat till a new strat becomes the normal way of doing it lol!

And just stop. t1 and 2 were tuned to allow ilvl70 to clear it because there was no CT middle tier of armor. SE introducing myth as that middle tier of armor means coil 2 is going to be tuned for closer to ilvl 100. So i dont think many outside of BG and other top tier FC going much beyond t6 without a good bit of ilvl 100.

Biggest thing about lack of customization... is unless they basically front load coil 2 with acc gear new allagan is going to sit in bags till you can reach acc caps.

I'm really shure, T6 will be iLvl 90 like T1 is (and always was) iLvl 70.

To compare: Pharos is iLvl 49 and remember the threads to Pharos in this forum. So only good groups will beat it at iLvl 90.
