lol 2.2 DF Turn 2 without enrage. Its titan HM for ilvl 55 players all over again.
To many failed Rot they should of removed it, changed it, or adjusted it to be suriveable. Lack of testing by developers & lack of keeping watch on whats going on in this game by developers sickens me!
i got sick & tired of teaching rot to players & Everyone like ok i know what to do now!... then they dont even attempt to do what was talked about, explained, pointed out!. Or still autopassing it! Looking at all your DRG's & monks here!!!!
(usualy a DRG/MNK auto passing due to the bad mechanic of how many i needs to pass to. Or a Bard due to the bad mechanic or having to deal with Rot & silence so healers dont get parazlised because most PLD's cant tank & silence at the same time..... Overall a not well thought out & bad mechanic)
& for those that cant read, yes i can do it. i have also taught people how to do it, i've been there when other have taught people to do it~ many have failed doesnt matter who teaches its to hard for them.
Found the quotehttp://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/143655 (48:08)Quote:
Also, every week that passes after patch 2.2 is implemented “The Echo” buff will start being applied, and while you are in the dungeon you will become stronger, and since your item levels will also be higher, it will be much easier to win. Ultimately it will be eased to the point where even if you eat Piercing Laser or some member dies while passing Allagan Rot around, you’ll be able to endure. You’ll also be able to remove the buff if you want to challenge the Binding Coil of Bahamut at its original difficulty. Rather than saying the difficulty itself will decrease, I think it's more accurate to say that players will be getting stronger every week.
So from what i read, the buff will only increase weekly and not per wipe. If you wish, you can still turn it off and keep doing it the normal way.
But the question still remains...did they change the T2 enrage or not? At this point i just want to know and can adapt as needed and move on.
If people can't do rot maybe they can't do coil. I'm playing the smallest violin right now.
The tears will be delicious in about a day.
tbh i have no problem with the buff to enrage if its true , but ninja buffing it is kinda shitty way of doing it , they should list it in the notes if its true
Nope, they said that you could survive *Lazers* not Allagan Rot. Since someone not passing Rot just ends the encounter and doesn't actually show (on my screen atleast) as hitting for a amount of damage, I would suggest that even with echo buff, not passing rot equals death. However, with echo buff, there is no reason you can't ignore everything else and only worry about rot. It will still be easy... :/
Edit: After I posted this, I saw someone posted the quote I mentioned. I guess they did say you could survive rot!
Cheak the quote "or some member dies while passing Allagan Rot around" if a member dies passing, it gets reset/recast anyway. If a member doesnt pass it, it wipes the party.
So its a joke to add echo when it wont do anything to save us from the noobs (enrage & DF noobs)
:) nice looking forward do t2 tonight and teach new the mechanism.
