A lot of people are missing the point. The bonus is given to the most needed role. In the video they show a WAR queuing up for a Low level dungeon and DPS is getting the bonus showing a lack of dps queuing for low level dungeons. People seem to be stuck on the fact in my first post I said 50k is a better reward.
Now I am on a Legacy server where there is so much more gil in the economy then non legacy servers. I know several people who started the game with 90m+ gil. A lot of the crafting materia even today goes for 400k each. When the game came out in the first week base relic weapons were going for 300k-400k super fast a lot of us had crafts leveled from 1.0 and were able to make a lot of easy money. When selling Titan runs were new they were going for 2m a run here, while other servers non legacy they were selling runs for like 200k.
If its their goal to get the most needed job to queue up and give them an incentive to play with randoms and not their FC 750 gil isn't going to do it because on a legacy server with so much gil in the economy that is almost nothing. You could go out kill a sheep for wool and make 1k selling that wool, which takes a couple of seconds. They could make the reward be based on the economy of the server but that would seem like a pain to program.
