The spirit of the game isn't belittling everyone who disagrees with you to nurture your narcissism. Plead your case and move along.

SE is addressing the leve predicament by balancing rewards and adding more leves for variety. The notion that they'll eliminate the ability to abandon leves is nothing more than that, a notion.

I suppose I could strive to be/brag about being the best, most respectable player in the game. But that's kinda like striving to be/bragging about being the hottest Denny's waitress.

I really don't see how you can lash out against people taking advantage of leve canceling. Have you ever heard the saying work smarter not harder? Why would you push your car up a hill if you can just drive it up? Man what a buzzkill you must be for your groups. If you ever tried to join one of my groups with that preachy attitude I'd boot your ass out in 2 seconds.

We shouldn't criticize his play-style as much as he shouldn't criticize ours. It's a two way street.

People play games to have fun and the only rules put upon them are those dictated by the game mechanics (or enforced by banning/suspensions if the game is Online). Player asserted rules may be fun in theory, but aside from sounding like a whiny baby - without a real in-game way to grief people who don't follow your rules (which would be horrible, but as a notion it's kind of fun - reminds me of .hack a little) you are completely defeated by the game mechanics.

You're not working honestly. You're scavenging and hustling. "you have street smarts" is what you try to claim.

I don't make it a habit to associate with people who lose on purpose. It's the principle. I also don't associate with game scavs who abuse any legal weasel tactic they can wrap their head around.

Good players don't need to act like struggling hustlers to keep up. If you do maybe you should get better at the designed game.

Why do you take an ultra-aggressive witch hunt stance with all of your discrepancies in the game? You're the Bill O'Reilly of the Lodestone forums.

No one's a bad, lowly, "hustling" person because they want to SP semi-efficiently in the game, seeing as it's about the only thing there is to do. If you choose not to do it, that's okay too. SE has stated several times that they don't view it as an exploit. To be honest, I think everyone would be much happier if you could just choose which leves you got every reset. It would sate the thirsts those wanting to be guaranteed faction points and marks, as well as those that want a good amount of SP instead of compromising. Win-win.

You need to lighten up a bit.

The sp difference between playing within the spirit of the game and hustling and scraping for every last sp and in the process looking like a frank loser is marginal.

You need to stop being so anal retentive about NNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG MAXIMUM SP.

Stop losing and start winning. You're traying way. Too. Hard.
