Oh my goodness, I had no idea... Why did Squee not do this??? x.x They have male models!

As for Snow's coat - there'd be no need for any design adjustments. It's just a long coat with a shirt underneath it after all. They'd just change whatever bits in the model they need to change to make it contour female bodies.

GM update!


In-game GM's informs me that to exchange an item would use the one-time item restoration service for (Female > Male) and therefore I cannot use it.

It would be a huge shame if there was no system in place to re-flag the quest or exchange the items, id hate for myself or others to miss out on this event because of this.

They should just have an npc that allows you to exchange one set for the other during the event.

I can't seem to find the quote, but one of the community reps said to me in the tread (or another) that they'd add this if there was enough demand, but I can't seem to get enough likes/replies to the thread to actually bolster the support needed to allow this.

This came up on the launcher today, so its even more irritating now that there's literally no way to get it now.
It can't be GM'd, repeated or exchanged.

Seriously if SE give us phantasia they shouldn't lock us to gear sets based on gender

I really don't understand why they didn't make the items in the same way they make every other piece of gear in the game - same item, just different looks for male and female. (Though I still think it'd be best if both male and female got both outfits.)

If FANTASIA are going to be offered in the future, then I want my SEASONAL VANITY ITEMS to correspond to my character's GENDER.

Maybe an NPC that changes the ITEM GENDER or something.

Totally in agreement with OP here Ive been sending in tickets for months about my awesome male black bikini set i can't get changed into a female set because i was tired grabbed the top two swimsuits with my vet rewards and turned out to be a male suit. When this happened there was a forum about people doing it and gm's fixing it for them but they just tell me im SoL. If I can change sex but then be stuck with a million female only outfits, well it's enough to make me never consider changing. But regardless ill still never have a black bikini on my main :(

The only reason I can see behind it is so that the icons are different, but that leaves us at the disadvantage we're having now where if you have a gender-locked item you're really screwed in the long-run.

Other than the icons there really isn't a reason to segregate it by gender, or we encounter this issue a few of us are having.

Not that adding in an exchange system would be difficult, they already did it with the Calamity Salvager.
