Oh, OK. For a second it sounded like you were insinuating that this was the change that I wanted just so that I could have more medals or something. I'm sorry too for overreacting.

IMO, superficial stuff like post count, rating, karma, and signatures are totally irrelevant to fostering good forum discussion.

I guess the "like" system is good for this forum, however, since it IS all about user feedback and gauging the will of the users, after all.

Other than that, the only thing you really need is a proper avatar system, so that users can establish a unique identity.
