Search your name on the Lodestone. If there are any matches, you'll get all of the people with the same name across all servers.

For example search Cloud Strife:

There are two of my name, but I want to contact the other player to decide where to go.

There is one that isn't playing, and, I did that to contact that player, but there isn't any way to contact.

I just hope that if they keep in mind option 4 instead of 2 they warn us if the server have a player with that name already.

My name is unique ^^ Yay no one to force me to rename my character. ;3

And yeah, I prefer Option 2 way more than any of the other choices. The one they plan on, aka 4. Is gonna make me loose alot of friends since they will scatter all over. :(

I'm gonna put my support behind plan 2. It's every way better than plan 4, there's really no reason not to do it.
