Except on the jp side its still called JSE by the devs i'm sure the translators just say AF to please the crowd cause everyone keeps calling it that.

Can we at least agree on Hypnotically notorious? Heterozygous Nano Marble?

A Marks system, paying company seals for pop items for Notorious Monsters.

You can even have it on tiers, you can't get the pop item for the next tier'd NMs until you defeat the previous tier.

(Essentially, I loved the Zeni system in FFXI... no war over claiming mobs, just put in the work, get your own pop and kill the monster)

They have thrown a few tidbits our way. The pvp they've described so far sounds sort of like WoW's battelgrounds- but the state of these battles grants or denies access to related PvE stuff. Thus if PvP isn't your cup o' tea, you'll still benefit from the people who are participating in it.

I like the idea of a grand company NM system similar to the ZNMs. I think it should run on GC points though and not levecards that regenerate with time. With Zeni you had to go out and snap a bunch of pictures and build up points. This wasn't the best system for sure, but it still made you work for your pop item by accumulating points. There's already a point system in place with your grand company, so it's a natural translation.

You mean, exactly like Faction leves essentially?

Faction Leves:

-Get points
-Spend points on faction leves
-Tiered with an NM on the last one
-No war over claiming, put in the work, get your own pop and kill the monster

The only bad part of this system is that you have to do leves to get the points but the structure exists already to do things like that.

Faction Leves are horrible, and you don't often get anything worthwhile from then. The last faction leve I did, I had the awesome adventures of finding glass bottles that were hidden in plain sight in Ul'dah.

We want an NM system (similar to ZNM maybe?), that requires work to obtain pop items (hopefully engaging, and fun), which in turn gives offers a structured system to kill NM's (whom of which are difficult) and let you advance to higher tiers of NM's. Drops should increase in terms of quality, as should the difficulty of the NM depending upon your level of advancement.

Honestly, unless dramatically improved upon, I hope nothing in 2.0 revolves upon Leves.
