All this talk about unwanted AST buffs. Some player will want them, some won't.. If you go into a Duty random party, see an AST and don't want any buff, then just simply say so from the start, then AST won't waste buff on you and you'll be happy to receive none :)

Useless, if i wanna buff everyone i do.
If someone don't want the buff, he removes it, that's simple.
Why should i not use an AOE buff beacause someone don't want it ?

I'm talking about single buffs. If it's a grouped player buff (unless most of the group asked you for no buffs :p), then the buffhater will just "take one for the team" and remove the buff from himself if he wishes so ;)

I originally decided to forget about it as quickly as possible, but after seeing these posts...

My Weeping City run last night was the absolute horror.
I didn't think much of it when people needed to kill 2 adds during Arachne Eve to get enough people down to kill the knots, but was a sign. A sign that the rest of the run was going to become really "fun".
Forgall: Aside from a few people dying to every single Mega Death (no bonus btw), the fight went well. People even tanked the third add (the one with the tail swipe) towards the raid. But this was just the calm before the storm.

Ozma. ♥
We had:
- people who totally ignored Ozma's form change attacks
- a catboi Ninja who decided to run off the platform when he noticed a meteor marker above his head ("sorry my controller wouldn't let me stop running")
- almost a complete alliance being hit by assimilation (no, they did not turn around after being hit. this is duty finder after all)
- a roe healer who triggered their co-healer because they kinda wanted to dps instead of healing the alliance
- people dropping meteors wherever they wanted (can't have a weeping city run without this one right)
- people standing next to each other to "share" (????) the damage from the bleed attack
- and a few smaller things.

Surprisingly, this was all during a single try and after one wipe, they got their shit together.

But then came Calofisteri.
That shirtless roe warrior decided to turn her around whenever she was going to do her arena-wide cleave attack. Later on, this resulted in the whole raid getting hit by it. I tried to tell them to "please let the raid dodge" but they either couldn't speak any English or were just a massive troll. I observed the raid for a while and noticed some really stupid things that justify the /facepalm emote we got.

- The healer that got triggered earlier slowly walked into the purple extension aoes on
the ground, only to write "oops" into the chat.

- During the Bijou phase, people who got targeted by the "laser" ran around in small circles until they died.

- Many people thought the axe flowers were really, really dangerous so they decided to stand beneath the bulb flowers. Let me remind you that we had no bonus.

- Aaaand of course, a ton of people thought it was a good idea to immediately run back to Calofisteri after her Penetration attack. That's a classic. Happens every time.

- Naturally, we wiped.

I wish we had cross server blacklists.

I called them stupid after the fact that they were passive-aggressive about the entire situation. Telling me "I'm sorry you're mad about that :/" is condescending, and needlessly passive-aggressive, so I will call them stupid for the stunt they tried to pull. ARF spam for the relic. I'm on AST for shorter waittimes, but man, this dungeon is so. Freaking. Boring. Not even the wet paper DRK in my last run who used exactly one CD during the entire duty was able to make things more thrilling. During a massive pull, somebody in Novice Network asked for the name of a certain item they have seen in my FC's house. I cast Synastry, Aspected Benefic, Aspected Helios, Time Dilatation and Celestial Opposition, then I mentally tabbed out of the duty, opened my recipe book, seached for the item, linked it, had a nice conversation in chat. When I came back to look at my tank, he was at about 60% health. Yawn.

Honestly if I'm spamming dungeons like that, my brain just shifts into autopilot mode. Boredom for some reason doesn't get to me doing that.

Leveling Roulette drops me, a lvl. 60 DRK, into Sastasha, with a sprout SCH, sprout DRG, and non-sprout ACN. Well, no big deal.

2 pulls into the run, I notice that the SCH is spamming Physick on me, instead of letting their fairy solo heal. I look slightly closer and see that they don't even have a fairy out at all.

Hesitantly, I pause and point out that they could just let their fairy heal for this run.

What I got in response: "don't have fairy".

The facepalm emote hasn't felt this appropriate in a while.

Erm, Summon I, that you get from levelling up and isn't tied to a quest? I'm assuming you pointed that out to them that "Summon I" and "Summon II" are the fairy summons on a Scholar?

It's been a while, but I'm fairly certain that you can't even unlock SCH without the game specifically telling you that, and you can't unlock it without Summon and Summon II either. I was just horror-struck that this was something that actually had to be told to them.
