The growing entitlement issues of the casuals

The point is she thinks that FFXIV would be like ffxi they can make everything we like into a casual way and still fun and would take some time that even casual can do. but sorry if a item is look as rare and you get it in 10min then why the hell is it rare? even wow took me hours to get some item 5+hour for that matter some took days and give up.

Her views of ffxiv can be view like everyone else but when she dislike everything even if it could make causal and hardcore players happy that when i cross the line and say then i'm sorry i wont see your views.

Someone who doesn't play the game does have a right to post on these forums, but the way she comes across makes people dislike her I believe.

I do agree though she does come across bad which causes people to think less of her.

@zaviermhigo in a way she does not have the right, she does not know how the game is she does not even play. She does not know what we have to do or even know how the game works reading does not really help. But she can post but problem is her views of this game is wrong. She think we want everything like ffxi i'm a hardcore player and i can't stand logging in ffxiv anymore then 1hour per day. Problem is she shut down everyone else view even if it's event that is casual and hardcore becuase she think it would be like FFXI. Hardcore players don't waste 15hours of there day just doing one thing. i waste 15hours just talking in my ls in ffxi or helping others. reason we dislike her at least for me is she dislike everyone view and only agree to her own.

Top of that players that don't even play does not care about the game they playing something else or don't even know about ffxiv. so when this game does come out they have to enjoy it how it is then they give out there view and SE would change it but i hope SE does not forget about the others who are playing it from the start and like how it was before. look what happen to ffxi most players hate that everything become to easy.

There many type of casual players and many type of hardcore players how much time you have does not = casual or hardcore.

There some casual players that have 15hours to play but they more lay back and don't really hurry to get anything done.

Casual that only have 1-4hours a day can play like a hardcore player they set goals for themself and even try to get best gear in the game.

There some hardcore players that play 10+hours and does not even try to get the best items. but i guess the type of hardcore that everyone thinks are the onces that are asshats and think there better then everyone and want everything to be hard when at the end they should be view like anyone else.

I couldn't find the one where she stated what happened to her computer, but she has stated numorous times she owns the game.

Also, talking about her is pretty schoolyard. If you have a problem with the way she talked to you, report it or block her.

Personally, I think she's right with her initial statements most of the time.

Last i read terms and services it did not read "you can not post on these forums if you do not play the game".. yes she dose not know the game as well as us i agree, i also find her views defensive too others. however we have no right to tell a person they shouldn't post in these forums. You have every right to dislike her but stop trying to exclude her.

We shouldn't exclude anyone who cares about this game whether they play or not, or are hardcore or not.

maybe you did not read " But she can post but problem is her " her views of hardcore is wrong. problem is many players think that wasting 10hours a day = hardcore. when i see a hardcore and casual players is like this.

Player1: players 10hours a day does not try to get best item talk to friends and help others. Levels pretty low and enjoy the game. = Casual

Player2: Plays 4hours a day try to get all the item in the game and set he/her time trying to make ends meet in the game. Have pretty high levels and found way to level with limit time. Hardcore

Player3: Plays 10hours try and get everything in the game have everything player2 have just a little more.

player4: Log in play the game does a few things does not really try to get stuff but is more lay back. = casual

And the only reason i'm using the terms like "Casual" and "Hardcore" is to show others what i'm trying to say. There more and more and more type of players. Players that only level up mage only level up buff class only level up pet class. Only level DD class. Only does craft which btw everyone is the reason craft our class in this game.

SE said they going to try and make this game for everyone. So casual need to understand that hey you don't need to waste 6hours to get something you can waste 1hour if you can't get it then try other day. It's how you use the time that you have. In every game they going to be item that take hours and hours to get if there not then it's not that cool if everyone is walking around with it.

This goes for everything even NM that our 24hours Casual can do them. Hey HNM "???" pop in one hour. Someone who play 4hours a day log in at the right time and goes and try it out and get a item. I think this is what players don't understand when i did HNM ya did them everyday for 14days walking up at 4am just to get a NM but i only woke up 5min before and set myself there before hand. This is the problem she not understanding.

What goes wrong here with the war of hardcore and casual is. oh if i waste 15hours hunting down this NM and you only been here 30min and got it you are lame and should have not got it. Or casual thinks that they should have everything that hardcore gets but within 1-3hours time. They need to be a mix if not then everyone going to b???. at the end SE going to do there best but ppl still going to talk and complain so what does it matter.

So at the end it's not how much you play. Because i hunt down a NM for 15hours and someone just log in and got it. Now i have the TOD log in tomorrow and get bi?? by someone just cuz i log in 5min before it pops. But am sorry just because you was here for 15hours does not mean should get such item, So just because you was here yesterday you have the right to get it today? that what most players would say too you but then again you bi?? at the playey for getting your nm how does that make sense in anyway?. or just because it took you 1year to get 75 and it took me 2month does not mean your more hardcore. It's just mean i play much better and took the time to understand a find the best way. It took me 2years to get 75 samurai. Took my gf 1year to get all the mage class 75 am i mad? ya sure it took me longer but she learn everything from me and find better ways of doing stuff and less the time. So the idea of casual and hardcore is wrong it's not about time it's about how you play such a game and luck.


FFXIV does not have to be a game like FFXI it can be fun and hard. both casual and hardcore want the something something the can enjoy and it be hard. We can have everything that is in FFXI but better and even players that have "1-4hours" a day can do.

I don't think the person who was arguing all of my points understood half of what I wrote though, and I've come to realize that that person represents nobody but themselves, but still.

My pc is broken. I have a Bios registry error. What happen was my pc wasn't updating to vista pack 2 or 3. So i tried putting windows 7 on it so I could play. My pc kept freezing and blue screening ( massive error ). When I tried doing a Bios update it pretty much no longer loads. It turns on that about it.

And its pretty childish to talk bad about a person you don't even know. And judge them over playing a game or not. You need a registration code to post on these threads

And I wasn't threatening, but warning people that your posting can reflect your game. Since these are official Game forums, if your temp ban on the forums, your temp ban from the game. Its all In the guidelines.

And a good % of my posts were misread, misunderstood, or people taking what I said out of context.

Fact is though I never stated the game must be to what I want. Others have stated that. Including the OP. I just want a fun game. Even if something isn't to my liking I'll still try it out.

in reality that what I've been saying. Everyone else including you have been posting making "alternative" events aka seperated events. Which can sum up to those with time can do either, but those w/o much time can only do 1. So who you think has more access to content.
