What kinda GM was this?

There was a lady npc that popped along with the GM in Camp Horizon yesterday on Saronia. Her name was Ro... something I did not get the whole name. As soon as the GM left she did also.

When do the GM and the NPCs pop? Only 1 time per earth day?

My German is a little rusty, but having lived in Germany for three years I am far more proficient than most on this forum. I'll see if I can translate this a little more accurately, as Google-translate will often miss the context or meaning intended.

Thanks for this, learning new things everyday. Well if 32 days in a month quick redo on the math.

Currently 10/31 in the game.

8 full months remaining. 8x32x1.15 hours = 295 hours~
1 day remaining for October. 1x1.15 hours = 1 hours~
6 days into July. 6x1.15 hours = 7 hours~

Total time 303 hours remaining til July 6th in-game or 12-13 real days still.

I seemed to have confused a lot of people saying moons represent months. I wasn't talking about the moon cycle length but rather the actual word. The English version was worded as 6th sun of the 7th moon which is the same format the birthday of your character is expressed as on the Lodestone site which is why I assumed it was a date.

Her name is Roysia, and she is against the Arcanist who pops up. Here's the convo that occurs when you talk to her:

I would translate it "soon the sixth sun descends".
But the rest is good, im German just as a side note, "Dein eingerostetes Deutsch ist sehr gut ^^".
I wonder why its written in German o.O.

All those things really begin to hype me.
The Npc really surprised me...one at horizon and one spawns in the middle of Ul Dah, praying about the upcoming "evil".

i wish i could see one of these npc's T_T

It's not just in German. All official game languages appear to be being used, although I don't think anyone on these forums has been able to post an English version yet.

Yes, Roysai is a NPC, her name is in green. Shame I forgot to get screenshots, gomenasai.

Speaking of NPCs. You know those giant floating eggs in each city? The largest one in each city is also marked with an NPC icon on our maps. There's got to be something in there...

I imagine it's the missing Spriggan from Kikina's side. SE probably were too lazy to remove it entirely, so they just moved him on top of the egg.

Two of my LS mates reported this today; the NPC popped at the bottom of the stairs to the AG, right in front of the repair NPC in uldah, just as the GM appeared at camp horizon.

When I took that video also in the past few threads (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6IaHzkK70s) You will notice when I extend the chat, the huge spam from Alfgar.

I think he only spawns when the guy does.

Hes got an outfit Ive never seen before, its unlike any GMs ive seen before. At first I only noticed him because of the GM icon and then the outfit caught my eye.

Ignore my sassy comments, I was hoping to egg him into talking. No luck, he didnt say a word. I doubt he even spoke any english.

Like everything else SE does in FFXIV, I have no idea what he was doing.

While indeed it is cool, I do have a question.

What is it about the appearance of a GM in any game that turns people into a bunch of hooting muppets? It is like because a GM has shown up, you can all of a sudden act like a total prat.

Why do people do this?
