I didn't do anything to got refund, it come automatically.
After buying Standard Edition, I just go into the game and sign in. No need to redownload it again.

Yes, frustratingly but unsurprisingly it failed, but it also will not allow me passed the original 'connect account or create account' first page now either.

PSN updates have always been PST based as far as I am aware, at least that has been the case in my experience. So I would wait til 3am est to check if services wiped.

I have been on the phone all day and even spoke to the supervisor (David) They told me; as i spoke to three different people that; one- they knew nothing of this issue, two that it was a glitch on my system from maintenance, and three from the supervisor that the refund was not for Final Fantasy but was a system ghost... Basically no one i spoke to knew anything about why the game didn't work, why i was refunded and said there was no voucher or email message to be expected. Could someone please give me the name of someone you spoke to at PSN that HAD information on this issue.

Yeah, that's the idea, but someone a few post ago said 5am(EDT). So, I will try at both times.

You know what, got the XMB message finally, coming with an attachment.
I opened the attachment, it brought me to the PSN store, and displayed a redeem code for me to confirm, which seems to be my original Standard Edition purchase.
And then, I go check my Services List, I have the below item under FFXIV:
FINAL FANTASY(R) XIV:A Realm Reborn TM Early Access, Starts 08/23/2013, Expires -
FINAL FANTASY(R) XIV:A Realm Reborn TM Standard Edition Pack, Starts 08/23/2013, Expires -
FINAL FANTASY(R) XIV:A Realm Reborn TM Open Beta, Starts 08/17/2013, Expires -

Trying to go into the game, but not successful due to server busy as the screen tells, will give it a try again 10 minutes later.

[Edit] Able to get in now, need to bind the service to my existing 1.0 account once again, have the preorder bonus (cat sith and moogle cap) to add, and is downloading the patch right now!

Yes, Thank You Greatly Sony and Square-Enix for hearing us and working on this in time for early access. Finger's cross no further issues for me in my near future and that my collector's edition works.

Didn't get the message on Psn but how will the effect the CE? no point in refunding since I already used a amazon code for early access. Just wondering about my CE bonuses
