It has been officially announced that there will be free copies of ARR for digital download for those who bought the original game, that CE status (including the new CE items) will be carried over from the original game into ARR and that we can purchase an upgrade pack for non CE to CE status at a reduced price if we want it and didn't get the CE in the first place. My question however is...

Is there any way for existing players to get the pre-order bonus items (moogle hat for example) without purchasing a whole new copy of the game?

A lot of us pre-ordered the original game and may not be able to pay the entire $30+ for an extra copy of the game for these items but may be able to pay a lesser amount such as $5-$10, similar to the CE upgrade service being offered already.

Is it safe to assume that PS3 trophies will automatically be acquired if you've already met that requirement on the PC and you're using the same account?

In a MMORPG I have a bit of trouble to get attached to npc's, it's not as if the story could be as good as a single player final fantasy. Going back on my words, maybe as good but it seems the "taking the role of" instead of "following the story of" makes the difference.

I'm still jealous about Legacy not beeing an option for me even though I was a couple of days to be eligible if I remember correctly I resubscribed my payments in september but heh. So since there will be an option to updrade to CE for past ffxiv 1.0, will the team go back and also let people updrade to Legacy because it is actually feasible and it's just a decision to make, even though I'm forcing this one since I know it was pretty clear that I missed my chance?

Even though I feel my question won't be answered, No one yet has asked about the animations, but it's a HUGE subject in the forum's since the rebuild. We've "been told" that there we're still animations to transfer from one build to another.

Question: Even though beta phase 3 hasn't started, from the content we seen & from the updates on the blog or this website or gameplay previews, there still isn't that particular bulkiness from 1.0 for the sake of fluidity between animations.

That is the transition between running to standing, jumping to standing/running( that could look à la shadow of the collossus).

Right now it really feels like we play with puppets, wait even puppets have inertia in their movements due to their WEIGHT*

Aug. 27th is the official release date, is this NA, or JP Time?

Early access has been shown to be 7 days, can we get exact times/dates for each time zone

I need to plan when to take off from work ^.^;

Issue: Account Region Change

Probably a sore issue, but i am wondering if we will be allowed to change our SE account Region when FFXIVARR launches or some time before. Some of us have actually moved since we first made our accounts (and were forced to choose a region) and honestly, since i now live in the US, paying in EUR seems a bit ridiculous. A lot can happen within a span of a few years that can alter ones living arrangements.

I would also like to pre-order the CE digital edition (upgrade from my 1.0), but I am reluctant since i hear that with the wrong region purchase your account can be locked.

Is there any way to remedy these issues? Maybe an unlock of the accounts region every year or so? Please let us know because this issue has not been addressed and it is very frustrating.

Does announcing the actual release date mean now Yoshida is satisfied with the product? (ARR)

It seems to not leave room for any rework time if beta testers aren't satisfied with the beta phase 3. Or I'm just worrying too much?

If the location of a country is in between NA and UK. How can the new players from such country know which version they are suppose to purchase? It's so confusing. What if they bought the wrong version? Why can't we just have one English version?

Are Australian player(EU) able to use Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector's Edition (US, JP) code to Australian account ?

Can you give timelines/ implementation window for pvp content(battelines etc) and large scale/alliance(24man) content?

will it be possible to use the same house for all of your characters in your account ?
like there one big family that share a house that way you can make one house nicely decorated instead of 2-3 houses
maybe even put a shared chest for easy sharing of resources between your own characters

Will players from 1.0 get same story line as players that start play in ARR??

Personally don't like the idea of them adding flying unless it's like personal airships or something. Maybe not something that we specifically pilot ourselves, but give us like a world map and allow us to basically fly to whatever areas we've already discovered, with similar travel to how the ferry works.

Can you please talk about housing? Do Free Companies get housing? If so, can the Free companies buy land and make a village with Inns, Pubs, and housing for Free Company members?

Can we have friends over in our homes? IF in game marriage comes about can we share the housing with our significant other? What happens if that marriage ends in a divorce?

Would it be possible for Legacy members get a free meteor survivor shirt?

Can you demonstrate/show us how housing works?

Will Linkshells with massive financial backing purchase their own property much in the way Free Companies are? I have two Linkshells working under one Free Company and I want to give everyone a home in whatever city or region they want.

Are you planning on adding any new regions, however small, to the game in addition to what's already been remade? With so many hard-working employees, I wouldn't put it past them.

How long will it take before we're able to ride Airships in real time? We can't now because you've told us that much of the map isn't observable from certain places once you go too high on the z-axis - due to how fast the maps were developed, they'll be needing upgrades.

In other words - How long until riding the Airship is more like riding the Ferry in Ver. 1.0 or in FFXI... except in the air?

Free Companies can build Ships and other property?! But what purpose does any of it serve? Are there places FCs can only visit if they have a ship to take them there? Will Skirmish and other content like it only accessible via Ships for example? Please expand on this!

When you mention about character transfer from one server to another server after launch, is housing included?

Will old v1 accounts be able to get the new CE( and pre order ) items that are coming with ARR? Will we have to buy said copy of the game and apply the codes to our old account or can we never get them?

Hey my question i would like to ask (sorry if has been asked before) I was just wondering if there is any chance that Bard and Ranger can/would be made separate jobs. I understand that i am probably in the minority that would also like it to be separate but i figure its worth a try :) I loved Bard as a job in FF11 and i understand this is not 11 but i would like to see them separated. Thanks for reading can't wait to play ARR!!! ^.^

To what degree can we customise the player housing. Will each member living in the property have individual bed rooms where they can access their retainer? How will we decide who can and can't enter the property?

No, it has been confirmed that players who have a past from 1.0 or Legacy members will get a slightly different story-line then a new player to 2.0. more so because the character has the memory of the fall of the 6th umberal era and the start of the 7th at the hands of Bahamut

While I think scholar would be amazing, that art matches the earlier art for the Arcanist. I think that's just the summoner's lower form, it even has the book as a weapon.

Will FFXIV have a yearly fan festival similar to Vana'fest ? If so, will it be hosted in regions outside Japan so more fans can participate ?

Can you give us more information, perhaps some video, on the Gold Saucer location? Will we see the return of classic mini games from other FF games such as the snowboarding, submarine games, a bike battle mini game, triple triad or more, hopefully also some new games for FFXIV?

Where else should you go to vent your frustrations and you pockets? Just... make sure you don't wind up owing the Platinum Mirage, or you might get the Hels beat out of you.

Are other regions (such as NA/EU) going to be able to get exclusive items like Mog Earrings (from 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box) or Dalamud minion (from Before Meteor OST)? Regardless of stats, etc. it's very troubling to make such items unique to a particular region, since everyone will know about them worldwide.

Will the NA/EU PS3 versions allow input in Japanese like the PC version does?

what will the people who bought the collectors edition the first time around get? and will it be the same for the people who buy the collectors edition this time around? or will there even BE a collectors edition for ARR?

Wings of the Goddess got me all choked up. I think we can expect a quality storyline in ARR. But... all we've seen so far is how the land has recovered from the Calamity.

Can we get a preview of how the story will move forward? Perhaps a story trailer?

I'd like to know about this as well. It's awkward to watch our beautiful characters pop from one position to another. This is Final Fantasy, not Minecraft.

I agree, the announcement feels a tad premature when so much is expected to change for Phase 3.

How was the decision for the release date made? Was Yoshi-P holding back until you could see the stability of the servers and UI, or are there other factors that contributed more? Does the team feel that the game is just in a fine-tuning phase that can be carried over until after launch? Is there elbowroom to push the release back if necessary? (I know I'm willing to wait, though I'd prefer not to.)

Above the Ceruleum Field would be cool. Like Midgar, having a prosperous upper plate with slums below. At the same time, the Ceruleum Field is nice as is. Wouldn't want to wreck that scenery if it's anything like 1.0.

How many minigames can we expect at the Gold Saucer?
