Bottom line is there will always be complaints when glam isn't unisex. I personally don't expect my game to operate like real life where I can buy and wear whatever clothes I want regardless of the section its from.

Okay, the doctors will ignore what you tell them you're feeling, they'll act like they know what they're doing, and you'll get sicker and sicker while they try to use your weight as an excuse as to why you're feeling that way instead of actually doing their job and trying to figure it out. That's US quality care.

Just a normal day's walk down the local street, really.

I'm a man, and while I never walked around in high heels (cause ouch, but hey they used to be a male fashion thing before women adopted it so no judgement here), but I did wear thongs and speedos from time to time when I was young and thin enough to get away with such. And while I doubt anyone wants to see me wearing them now IRL (time takes its toll after all), there's absolutely nothing wrong with guys wearing them if they want to and that goes for in game as well. One of my glam outfits does use the 2B bottoms on a male character and I like the way it looks on him with the other glam pieces complimenting it.
Why not both for both?

Men wearing heels and wigs used to be "traditional". Times change and will continue to do so long after we're gone. Even in Japan, once upon a time geisha were "traditionally" men. That flipped over the centuries. Who knows what humanity will be wearing 200 years from now. Guys and Gals could all just be wearing glowing hula hoops held up by magnetic fields or some such, and they'll look back at us and call us weird.
Don't care I'll never wear something so awfully degenerate in this game, I have enough seeing 90% of female characters running around with 2b bottoms +boots and naked top.
It seems to me that more mature people don't care about the bikini-v-panty difference, and start preferring non-skin-tight pants (e.g. Auri pantalets) or skirts anyway.
In my experience, man or woman, once someone's seen enough of the bare reality, adding a little bit of mystery is usually an improvement. Everbody's crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed avatar.
Personally speaking I like the new glam, the female varient at least. The male one seems a little dull I agree. I do wish they could get more 'skimpy' or feminine outfits. I have never been a fan of gender-locked cosmetics. Let people ware what they want! Also, more sexy male outfits!
They are event appropriate, and personally Id take a new glam set over another mount ill probably never use ever again after the first 2 days of getting it. At least with a full glam set theres the chance ill use one of the pieces at some point. The sandals are cute, as well as the bracelets. Could be better, also could have been far worse. For an event that happens once a year, ill take it.
