I was pretty disappointed to hear we would be getting a dyeable Shisui set for Moonfire this year as it isn't my style at all, but I was at least excited to get the headpiece. Now we aren't even getting that. :(

Now that you brought it up, I wonder why the sleeves (female healer/caster/tank) doesn't belong to the hands section and the high socks (female slaying/striking) to the feet section. I find it rather annoying that they arrive in one package hence limiting glamour options...

I rather have that swimsuit on event poster and have it dyeable instead of shisui set. Been years and still have same swimsuits and no new ones from events. Last one we got is moonfire set.

This seems extraordinarily lazy. ;( #notimpressed

Months? People have known for weeks, but months? SB isn't 'months' old yet, and the update that included the items isn't even a month old, is it?

Depending on how long you've been in Eorzea, you already gave that set, except it's not dye able. SE needs to go back to those older swimsuits and give dye able variants.

They announced the Moonfire Faire rewards before the launch of Stormblood?

Would of been cool if they added a new swim emote, would of been a perfect time to add let's say um cannonball.

While I have no issues with them just making a dyeable version of the Shisui set. Would it have killed them to make all options available? I know some like the sleeves or dislike the stockings.

Love how it is just the Shisui set. Also the one that looks horrid on male characters :S.

I wanted this festival to come out, now I think I will pass on it :S.

gets 3 pages of race inequality in advertising and bagging on the fact they aren't actually releasing the swimsuit in the picture.

I'm fine with the set they're giving us, but not as this event reward. Look, if they want to dodge the time investment of making new suits, fine, but at least make the old ones buyable with gil during the event. Give people an appropriate shot at NOT having to buy a crap ton of years-old swimsuits for real dollars, if they want anything other than the black one. Otherwise throw us a bone and give us a new one. I mean, with the swimming and diving, this would have been the perfect chance.

Also, it would be helpful if they took this chance to fix the skin discoloration glitch on the female chest piece on the torso down to the waist. It might make this reward a bit more appealing then. ^_^

Well, anyway, regardless of all this, there's always next year I suppose.

Gear recycling aside, I want to say something about that promo art. Specifically about the miqo. ...Like, she doesn't look like a miqo'te to me. Sure, she's got ears and a tail, but she has normal eyes, a strong jawline, a faint amount of muscle definition...it's a highlander wearing cat ears. And frankly, the ears could be mistaken for part of the hair for how distinguished they are. And don't even get me started on how that pose makes no sense.

I also love how the main miqote on the promo art actually has a butt lol. There is not one female race in FFXIV that has a butt that looks that good >_>. Make it happen SE.

Thing is, they handled it more realistically then most games and made it outfit-dependent, with most plate/leather armor having none whatsoever, while the stuff that visibly lacks support like the coatees, harnesses, and Bard AF1 are almost painfully obvious.

The majority of outfits have very subdued physics (Which is honestly refreshing after playing games like PSO2), so it's understandable why some don't notice it. Anyone who chose PGL as their first class (Like myself) and went through the awkward harness phase certainly would notice, though, as their combat idle stance is rather...lively.

The jiggle of the many outweigh the jiggle of the one.

As I see it the Rising is right after the Moonfire faire. Regardless of what reward they give it will be out shadowed by that. Besides it gives me a reason to trade in the dungeon geae now and not gave to hold onto that set.

Don't be quick to toss all of them though! Some sets are pretty different from the Moonfire set.

The caster on is actually quite similar for males except not dyable. Besides I need the retainer space.

Well you see there is a top-slider. Not having a bottom-slider is :(. Maybe even a middle-slider :).

Also still sad that after just giving us a re-used gear set (which will then go into the mog station..) they would not at least give us the whole set..or at least they could have given us the head gear and take away those socks..who goes swimming like that?

Welcome to the world of SE where many things don't make sense.

One of the thing that annoys me greatly is how they always say they can't give us <insert basic QoL item> due to server space, or how the game reads memory, or any number of similar reasons. But then here they go implementing 2 separate sets of armor/gear for many things. The Shisui dungeon gear should have just been dyeable. Why do we need a practically-identical swimsuit to add to inventory? Then there are all the items on the MB that come in both a dyeable and non-dyeable version. WHY?! And then all the insane amount of tokens and currency that really could be condensed. Lets throw in the various levels of demimateria, glamour gems (although this has been addressed, granted all levels are still in game), dark materia, etc. There is just so much excess fluff that could be trimmed off, but instead they just keep throwing duplicates at us.

Pardon the rant. lol :X

They have a implement now, worry about it another time method, which is very odd.
