Evolution of your character

I only started playing a few months ago, so I don't have many screenshots of myself yet. Appearance-wise though, I haven't changed a bit. Aside from my gear.

Here we have me hanging out with some of my guildies before I learned how gpose worked.

I later picked up the basics of gpose, and I celebrated after I obtained my first lanner.

I leveled a Paladin and found a good glamour, but it turned out that the pants were too expensive. So I decided to take no pants at all.

I eventually ended up getting all lanners and dyed my armor solid gold for the occasion.

I later replaced my Paladin glamour with a better one.

Fantasia is one hell of a drug.

Nita Lee is the second character I play with. She started as a "tester" character during, my FFXIV trial in January 2015. After I started to thoroughly enjoy the game, I deleted her for the characters I would actually be playing with. But I kept her template and used it for one of Lucienne Beauvilliers's retainers. She started off as a Hyur Highlander, but eventually became a Hellsguard Roegadyn. Her character usually has twin pigtails, so I was excited to know that Heavensward was going to get the hairstyle.

I don't have any of my older screenshots with me, though this one, a Heavensward era shot, is technically old by now.

My appearance hasn't changed much from 2.0 to 4.0 (save for losing my face stripes), but my scar on my right cheek is a notable thing: I got it, and wear it proudly, to represent the 4 months or so that I pushed and struggled to clear T5 way back when. My FC wasn't interested in helping, but instead of giving up, I set out to find others like me, who really wanted to clear it.

Made a lot of new friends along the way and we dedicated ourselves to doing it, over and over, wipe after wipe, but learning and progressing little by little, til we finally pulled it off. In the end, I was told by our BLM (who went on to be a raid leader) that it was me who ultimately taught her and the rest, when no one else would. I'd never felt so accomplished, nor had I ever been so sincerely thanked for what I'd done.

For all the gear or titles I'll ever have, nothing's going to hold as much meaning as that scar. It's a permanent mark of what determination and effort helped me achieve.
