Wouldn't this be better for another thread? This isn't about the debate of LGBT+ organizations in the community, this is a recource. In my opinion, this kind of dicussion is taking away from the threads focus. It belongs somewhere else.

This may have been repeated on an older page, so apologies if this is old info. But I know the owner of Wings of the Phoenix personally, and that Linkshell was merged with another Linkshell here on Ragnarok to form Eden Pride a while back. Which has a healthy member count and is usually pretty active. So for any fellow LGBT members on Ragnarok looking for an LS, I recommend it.

You don't have to be Lesbian/Gay/Bi Etc etc etc to join their Free Companies. Just know its a hub for those who are interested in playing with players who are similar like them. But yes the point of this thread is to archive information, not debate.

Thanks again to everyone how has posted information about their groups. Although I'm happy that the conversations here have been cordial, please respect the purpose of this thread and only post if you are providing information about LGBT+ friendly FC's or LS's in FFXIV.

Also, there are reasons why I require a website link as well as links to the Lodestone pages for your groups. It provides people a means to discover more about you, as well as a way to contact you. I will not be posting information about groups in the main posting if they do not include a Website.

Although it is dissapointing to discover that groups have broken up or disbanded, if you know of these events, please let me know so I can remove old/stale information from the thread.

In preparation for the multitudes returning/joining for Stormblood I've removed all entries that haven't been updated since before Jan 1 2016. The list looks pretty 'light' but I'm certain that there are many more groups out there than what are represented here. Yes, it is necessary, unfortunately. In the case of the FC that I run, we're not all necessarily part of the LGBTQ rainbow, but we're straight allies too. It just means that any homophobia, name calling, slurs, trans phobia, etc, is absolutely not tolerated and is the one thing we will insta kick you from the FC for doing. Preferred gender pronouns are strictly enforced. You'd be surprised how heartless and cruel people can be to each other in a video game.

Honestly, I actually don't advertise these places as LGBT or LBGT Friendly, but that's because I feel like I shouldn't have to nor should it have to be necessary. Personally, being nice, polite and respectful should be a given and I feel that I shouldn't have to tell someone to not be discriminatory/hateful to another person because of their race, intelligence or sexuality. And being gay myself, I don't like how the term "LGBT" has become an advertising/marketing tool used by those who are "LGBT Friendly". And yes, that is in quotes because I have yet to meet one TRUE LGBT friendly heterosexual person in this world. That's all I have to say. (Insert Devil Wears Prada Theme Song)

If so :

We're new on Omega, and have created a brand new FC named Divine Comedie.
We aim to create a community where everybody can play at their own level without anxiety, with helping and caring members, and possibly with a bit of role playing game if new members are interested .

We're a french speaking LGBTQIAP+/MOGAI FC (accepting allies), wishing to become as inclusive as possible. We're recruiting here !

For now we just created the FC and have no website of our own. The name is mainly a reference to Ifrit's overdrive but can still be changed, as it appears it might be slightly controversial (or ironic at least) for an inclusive free company, given the tone of the original piece XD.

Once you became bullied in real life or in the game (it happened more than once to me), once "friends" don't want to know you anymore because they found out you are gay - let alone trans, once a gay friend is being beaten up in the streets for holding hands with his fiance, once your parents kicked you out of home so you became a teenager without shelter, which was my experiance after my parents found out... you are just glad to have a place where you can say whatever bothers you, knowing people understand why it is much more of an issue for you that a colleague made a joke about lgbt for example, knowing people know...
I do understand your point of view and man would it be great just to play together and have fun! But people even get salty about a newbie messing things up at the very first try of a primal fight!
