When European players will get a data centre located actually somewhere in Europe?
When European players will get a data centre located actually somewhere in Europe?
There'll be Free Company's Houses?
Will this be subtitled or translated into something other than Japanese? You know maybe into a lanquage that more than 35-40% of subscribers can understand?
Does SE plan on crafting mounts (magictech)? If so, perhaps a mount workshop bay to engineer them in playerhousing?
1. Will gear eventually be added that enhances or augments abilities, similar to certain gear in Final Fantasy XI? For example, gear that lowers recast time, or increases the potency of specific buffs or weaponskills?
2. Please show us how classes and jobs will play in PvP.
Related to mount crafting and possibly a crafting bay for mounts. The ability to craft mount armour?
Do you have any plans to implement a European data centre?
Are you planning to implement some system for continued character growth after reaching end-game and level-cap [in all classes]? If so, can you elucidate us on these plans?
Others have already commented before on the acquisition of merit points (in reference to FFXI), and this is largely the same question, but also highlights that other games allow for continued character growth in some way after reaching end-game. It would be nice to see this in XIV as well, ideas for continued growth range from improving stats (e.g. Strength, Vitality, etc.) or possibly spending points to be able to limit-break the stat caps on items, points that can be traded in for rare(r) crafting materials, improving a character's chances for finding gil, or receiving item drops from mobs, etc.
Will you consider making all cities count as favored aethryte [locations], as they once were in FFXIV 1.0, this will allow players to choose 3 non-cities as alternate favored destinations, or, as an alternative, will you provide a quest line or some way to increase the number of favored destinations?
1. How do the developers feel about both the JP's and NA/EU's concerns with warrior being undervalued due to the lack of defensive cooldowns, lackluster self-heals, and 10% unaccounted for mitigation difference when compared to Paladin?
2. Are there plans to address the concerns of our warriors?
3.Are there plans to address voidzone latency?
There is often severe animation latency and regular latency on abilities both player-side and monster-side. The position check every 300ms on the server side also affects moving out of these abilities because sometimes the check appears to occur in the middle of moving out of an ability, so you get hit, even if you moved out in time.
I look forward to hearing your responses concerning these questions. Getting some answers for these questions would mean a lot to me and the community.
Thank you. ^^
Will there be new summons besides the initial 3 (Ifrit, Garuda, Titan)? If so, what new summons will be introduced?
Are there plans to introduce new mounts to the game?
Are Ninja, Samurai, Red Mage, or Blue Mage going to be introduced to the game with patches/expansions?
Will there be a change to the targeting system? At the moment it is difficult to toggle through enemies without having to cycle through every enemy in the area before being able to focus on the three or four currently attacking you.
Are you ever intending on bringing back the concept of Path companions from FFXIV 1.0?
will we seen bst and other jobs in later patch
As I understand it, the houses will be broken up into instances of 30. When one neighborhood is full a new one is created to allow "infinite" housing options. The only way I have heard for you to be in the same neighborhood as your friends is to enter the instance in a party. I was wondering if there will be a way to create a housing instance specifically for your FC, so that you can all live in the same neighborhood without having to form parties to enter together and risk someone else moving in and taking a house.
Can personal housing be shared with all of your characters? That is, if I buy a house on my main character, can I give my alt access to it also?
QUESTION: When will it be possible for hacked accounts that had gil loss and damage to be rolled back?
There are many victims of RMT hackers that have been waiting weeks to a month or more for a rollback to continue playing and for whom it is almost not worth playing until they get a rollback. It says we get 2 rollbacks in case of account compromise using SE token and that completion time is 7-10 days but SE support has told me that rollback has yet to be possible even though there are character saves stored to rollback to.
Losing this much time waiting for a rollback is terrible considering that the end game gear is earned by saving tomestones week to week. Please give us some timeline as to when rollback will be possible as it is ridiculous to expect people to put in months and years of time into a game without some sense of account security.
If you don't think this a question worth answering then please look at the forum post below. You will see just how many people this is affecting and just how much distress it is causing, and these are just the few of the many that haven't given up or posted in forums.

I have also read that each neighborhood will contain a specific amount of large, medium, and small housing plots. I assume most gamers will eventually go for a large land plot as a sign of accomplishment. If this is the case, will there be opportunities to upgrade the housing the plot from small to medium to large or will the players that want the limited large plots have to wait for others to fill up a neighborhood and keep trying to jump into a new neighborhood that has open large land plots and race for the spots?
Any plans to add companion oriented questing? I would like to see chocobo oriented content to nourish a strong relationship between my character and his mount/companion.
I apologize in advance for not being able to read through 13 pages of threads to identify if this question has been asked.
Can you give us a timeline and a plan on how you intend to allow Legacy players to transfer to Non-Legacy Servers. You can be assured that there are a lot of people very disappointed at that announcement. There is an obvious understanding that the economy is the main reason for it, but you could simply give an interim procedure where they are asked to sacrifice a large amount of their gil to transfer, and explain that there will be future developments in the economy if users would prefer to wait for a better solution.
Currently, Fisher suffers from major problems. The fact that GP and crossclass abilities from the other DoLs do absolutely nothing for Fisher feels extremely broken.
So many fish in the game are absolute fodder and serve no purpose whatsoever beyond finding the nearest vendor and getting rid of them so as not to clog your inventory.
Bait takes up a lot of space considering how many varieties there are.
Currently, Fisher is also the only DoL that can't obtain crystals, catalysts or dark matter. One plausible idea is to give Fishers Fillet Knives we can equip in our offhand that allows us to make use of a new skill to cut the fish we find for a chance at obtaining crystals, catalysts and dark matter.
Are there *any* plans to address the numerous problems with FSH?
Will there be the option of making a 'company house'?
The problem I generally have with housing in games, when set in a "neighborhood", is that I rarely leave my house to wander around. Largely, because there is little reason to.
Will there be any form of encouragement towards players to participate outside of their house in their "neighborhood"?
Why was the ability to acquire dark mater via DoL removed from the game, will it ever come back? was it ONLY to control the economy.. gil sink?
Speaking to the "neighborhood" of the housing system, can we expect some NPC life in these neighborhoods? For instance NPCs wandering around on a time schedule perhaps, or children running around and playing. And if yes; can we expect those populations to be diversified amongst the new genders including as children?
Is there anything interesting coming to DOH classes besides the possibility of furniture making (i.e. Any chance of "AF2" or "relic" crafting armor, as gear progression feels particularly limited here)? A follow up suggestion would be some way to show off our crafting abilities with things like Bind on Pickup pieces.
Will fishers get a secondary weapon that will carry their bait? Because 20+ spaces of my inventory are full of bait.
Why isn't there an option to limit the game of loading a certain amount of characters near you? (ex. being able to limit the game to load only 20-100 characters near you and being able to change that option to fit your internet.) And why does the game load players first instead of NPCs? Making some interactions with NPCs take a lot of time while waiting for them to load that is including Fate bosses.
And about the FC house, will it be paid with FC points or with gil? Will the room distribution be set from the beginning or you can put walls where you want in the set amount of space to make the house more of your style? And what crafts will be used to make furniture for the house?
Mog Bonanza, ( Can i have it please? )
reason being the confiscated rmt money :O
Would you ever consider removing the allowance system and make levequests able to be completed whenever we need/want to rather than restricting it?
Can you please make self-repairs a little easier?
For example: if I am a White Mage, and I have a fully-leveled weaver, can I simply click "Repair" as a White Mage.
Currently, we have to switch back to Weaver, unequip all the items, find each item in the armory, and return back to White Mage, then repair the staff with Carpentry, switch to that, etc.
Chocobo Raising, when can we expect it?
Gardening, when can we expect it?
Basement workshops: can you give us more details? Crafting buffs?
I am wondering if we will able to transfer items beetwen characters at any point ? I gather, craft and store all my gear and i am already running out of space will this be taken care of at any point to compensate having to use a fc to yourself for storage like it currently is?
Is there any plan to implement traditional final fantasy mini games? for example, Tetra master, blitz ball, chocobo treasure hunting, chocobo racing, etc...
There have been a lot of questions regarding WAR's role in a group, detailing how it stacks up against PLD and while the meaning behind communication is usually lost after trying to merriam-webster online dictionary video game jargon due to not understanding a term like "viability" on the same level, many feel that it is accurate to say that using WAR is unconventional.
There has been a lot of discussion in the English Tank Roles forum about how WAR is not everything it was envisioned to be.
What plans do you have to address these concerns?
I do not feel like anyone is asking for WAR to become the same as PLD because homogenization is icky, but I feel like a great number of the class' abilities are uninteresting, underwhelming, or nigh useless.
I don't know whether or not this was answered in a previous thread or letter from the producer, but... Will the housing areas in Gridania and Ul'Dah be ready for patch 2.1? I remember that the Limsa Lominsa housing area was tested in beta test phase 4, but the others were unavailable. I'd prefer to have my home in Ul'Dah, so I'd very much like to know. :)
Please give me reasons to see people in Free Company Housing!
I would love to see bonus incentives, like automatic well-fed bonuses, for logging out in our Free Company housing. It would be really nice to see our guild members sign out and the area not be empty. With so many aetheryte points, I don't see that many people actually wanting to go back and being there. I'm afraid it will be a ghost town!
A free Teleport area to all the major cities, for example, would be a great incentive for people to log out in their Free Company and make it their dedicated Home Point. If you can afford hundreds of thousands of gil for housing, you shouldn't have to pay full price for teleports any more. Or maybe a personal airship free-of-charge airship for the Free Company? :-) :-)
I saw the housing video and the new furniture is cute, but will there be more "normal" options for players who don't want their houses to look cartoon-y? Will the furniture we've seen in game already at places like the inns be available?
Is there any plans to fix the general problem with the server communications?
(called "instance lag" by many people). Based on my understanding it comes from the fact that the server uses its understanding of character position rather then the clients. This leads to in higher lag situations that when there is very limited time to move sometimes the player needs to have a reaction time barely higher then the average human reaction time. Witch eliminates skill from the equation and is purely based on the internet connection. The fix for this is to just cross reference the clients position with the servers position to calculate if the attack should hit or not. I have had many times where i can be far from the attack and confident I dodged but get hit anyway without even being near the animation.
Part 2
Is the game going to be optimized more for casual players?
Although I like the game I find that the game targets only hardcore MMO players. The difficulty of most of the content is well beyond a casual players level. Hearing a higher difficulty of primals on my way makes me think that the game does not care about the people who just want to have fun, and only the elitist who are currently in the game. The leveling is good for casual players and fast for hardcore players, witch is good. However that is not kept in end game and instead almost purely targets hardcore players.
