Worst end game community ever?

I've run into new players that throw worse hissy fits than any "leetspeedrunner" I've ever come across.

And please be patient with the people running CM who get irritated, it's our 100th run through this week and there's no comparable alternative to farming Philosophy stones. We may get a tad cranky from time to time that we have literally no other choice than to spam this dungeon 1000 times so that we can spam coil 1000 more times. ._.

Seems to be a good amount of people who are endgame but don't like the speedrun go go go method. If on each server, people could form into groups who have these like minded goals, it might help them avoid having to play with the speedy people and the speedy people can pick from the people who like that kinda thing. I'm kinda surprised that the speed runners are using DF to find members instead of using it with their own full party.

Also, I am very curious as to whether Japanese servers have the same problems mentioned in this thread, with their endgame dungeon players too.

Its not even End game, i've been coming up against assholes and morons since before Brayflox (hawkke manor) i think it started for me, after my extra 60 days are up no way am i resubbing, and i thought Guildwars 2 was bad this makes that look like a happy fun time..

It doesn't help that my delay/ping issues makes these dungeons epically harder than they should be..either.

Our Linkshell has made a point of taking the time to help members through Castrum and Praetorium when they are up to it for the story. We let them have the experience of watching the cutscenes in the environment intended. Some of us take the time to re-experience it and watch the cutscenes as well. No rush.

Why? Because it's worth having someone around who appreciates the game's story, there is something satistfying from mentoring someone new through the content, plus it's an easy/stressless/fun 100 tomestones with friends.

OP if you were on balmung id toss ya a LS/FC invite and we would help ya with endgame.

I feel ashamed sometimes to be a part of the NA community because of their attitude.

Hopefully with time they will either mellow out or opt out of even playing the game.

I'm just waiting for my FC to level up enough to run CM with. In the meantime, I fish and use the DF to gradually run CM, so that when they catch up I can be the best I can be for them.

I've watched the elitism gradually develop. Now it looks like you need to be "geared" with relic or you cant get a CM group.

The problem is charity. The environment doesn't encourage it, doesn't reward it. It is not fertile soil for charity to grow. So evil grows instead.

The selfish elitist snobs who can't bring themselves to be charitable toward someone who doesn't meet their insane standards are evil.

Usually the knucklehead elitist cliques roll out after they burn themselves out, so let them grind won't be long before they steamroll themselves out.

I started end-game this week-end and I don't think it's THAT bad
yes, I had to cut cutscenes for my story (7 people already did it numerous time, I felt like I could watch after in the inn)
But people were nice.

I also aggro'd some monsters and place myself kinda bad one or two times and nobody shouted at me or anything.

Only problem is that nobody explained anything so as a healer, I could just focus on healing but I have NO IDEA of the mechanics in CM (the canon things, the access keys... no clue).
So I just follow and heal

Same for Wander's palace. I had no clue about that big tomberry but nobody was disgusting.
So I feel everything is quick, no talk and no extra fights/exploration.

Everything seems to be speed run but I did not mind, no issue so far
