Sorry but when did this thread become an argument about limitless UI options and not a thread about simple name/icon toggles?

I never said I hated the idea, only say there is more to it that you guys assuming. Can you really put your unjustified hate for me away for 5 min?
And take time to consider how much work goes into such a thing.
this is pretty much what you guys what
1 a toggle fir the linkshell creast
2 a toggle for your name only
3 a toggle for last names only
4 a toggle for everything minus the repair icon
And I know thats not every suggestion.
now seperated that looks like a small list. But when added to every / command in the game its not a small list anymore.
Again i'm not hating the idea i'm just listing who it effects. If i hayed the idea I would have said so. So you guys are reading my posts wrong, or misunderstanding them.
think about it like this. a signle mp3 is (fake number) 1kb of data ok byitself it isn't much. But adding 10K sing @ 1kb adds up. which makes it 10K kb.
hmm a better example is stop motion movies much like the fantastic mr fox. That movie while being made took up a few trigs. of memory.
Where do I even start!
If people are overwhelmed by options, too bad, they don't need to use the options. I mean, there are countless commands in game I never use, most of which are only useful for people who make macros. Since I don't use macros, I never bothered to learn the commands. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't exist.
Also, the code needed to tell your client not to display something on screen is basically nothing. It's probably the simplest thing they could possibly code since it's all client-side. And also, no amount of such codes no matter how superfluous will ever be enough to overwhelm our harddrives.
see the first part is why you need to think about suggestions more.
Anyway please read it over again.... I never said it was a bad idea. So no idea why your getting rude over it.
I also said if it don't take up room then i don't care.
Those are 2 things your not reading.
Also sure the ppl don't need to use the options, but what if they accidently do? And have no way to fix it? Can you safely say someone is going to help them out?
I seen ppl quit games over that. Not something we want.
It if is doable it isn't that bad of an idea, Id just feel sorry for anyone who writes a / command guide.
