Fem hroth rigging problems?

Here to chime in that the level 97 dungeon gear also has the comically oversized sleeves and it looks really bad

I'm just really disappointed they delayed femhroth for the graphical update and they continue to make the same mistakes over and over.

I just hope they fix it soon. They have an hotfix coming where they talk about "An issue with the display and animations of certain characters", but nothing about the weird hrothgal bug.

I highlighted where the shoulder rigging on the armor clearly is off to the point it doesn't actually touch the shoulders of the character, more reminiscent of the males.

I noticed something similar with the Light Steel chest piece on my hrothgal, where there is all this extra padding under the shoulders that almost make them look like they're floating, lol. Also, the small part on the bottoms that covers the top part of the tail? Also oddly over-sized.

In general it feels like the older a piece of equipment is, the worse it fits on female hrothgar, which does not bode well for someone like myself who is still largely locked to stuff available only up to Heavensward.

it's not limited to old gear, there is gear up through the end of dawntrail with these display issues
I actually made a topic on r/ffxiv about this too but I got downvoted into oblivion for some stupid reason

As much as I love Hrothgals otherwise, I'm gonna have to go back to Lala until this is fixed. Some of my glamours work so I put up with it for a bit, but some of my favorites are absolutely ruined.

Would really like some sort of mention about this should Yoshi P make another post. The hrothgar body type already means a lot of my usual bunny glams do not suit her, nevermind needing to avoid anything with sleeves or shoulderpads.

I was made aware of the big shoulders issue when I saw this, the Virtu Bodyguard's coat. I like oversized shoulders but on some of the armours it does seem a bit much. The arms are clearly not *this* big.

That said I really do love the Hrothgar. :) I'm really happy with how they look otherwise.

So wishlist so far is adjust rigging so that clothes don't look comically weird on our hrothgals, give us all the hairstyles we are missing aaand... unlock the racial hairs from faces for heavens sake.

I do suggest people keep posting any gear that looks bad in here. Keep a list going.

So, basically, the sleeves and shoulders are the main problems with this race then. It's a shame really because I really love how the hrothgals turned out. I used to fear that they would look like Miqo'te girls or something.
