Bro, it'll never happen. Could you imagine if Yoshi P suddenly admitted to being behind the cash shop? His reputation would probably take a massive hit. There's a reason why when players ask the devs questions about the cash shop it's almost always smoke and mirrors, like the creation of the "scary baroness lady." The cash shop is an incredibly unpopular piece of FFXIV because it comes off as corporate greed, and nobody at SE wants to take responsibility and take the flak for it.

I have a feeling that you are correct, citizen. Square Enix will always choose to say things that the fans want to hear like how all proceeds from the cash shop go back into the game... It is up to the citizens of Eorzea to not fall for obvious PR statements.

To be fair the Seigneur outfit is just trash design in general. Just doesnt look appealing even for the edgy gothic style they were going for. At least for me.

Would I purchase it? There are a number of outfits I'll never consider. This isn't one of those.

Thats why I said it But Ive a few friends who normally go for these outfits and even they said it couldve used a few more passes at the drawing board.
