MNK endgame gear?

i can see some of your points but while people here flame someone for his own playstyle thats just wrong, its a game its not life everything doesnt matter in the end. i carry my own weight but so what if someone doesnt thats his choice and his playstyle. not everyone plays this game to be the best some play for fun and to be with friends. doesnt mean that your hardcore that everyone else has to be. its called free will

You still dont understand *sigh* fine i'll spell it out in simple words for you , i do care about gear but i'm not going to bother myself in getting any until 2.0 and above.

Exactly my point Akira :) , we need more people like you and less flamers around , cause seriously these forums are like one giant black hole of flamers, oversensitive , frustrated,mentally disturbed people looks more like an anger management crazy house than actual helpful forums. I've seen free to play forums with more helpful people and less hate and frustration driven people than on both FFXI and FFXIV forums combined.

Try doing Garuda with a group of people that don't carry their weight and have their 'own playstyle'.

Then I will spell it out simply. What does it matter if you do it now or 2.0? What are you going to say at 2.0? "I will wait till the next patch comes to get gear.". If you said "I hate the RNG system and waiting till a better system comes in 2.0.", there is a logical reason, or "I want a fresh start at 2.0.", but the only thing I hear is that you don't see a point in getting current gear when there is all kinds of reasons to. What i'm saying is my personal opinion i'm not telling anyone in specific anything, i'm just saying that gear to me is not of importance , i dont do endgame events yet , so i have no need for gear, if you do endgame events yes you're going to need gear. Of course bettering yourself is a good thing and its what everyone should strive for, but then comes ppl's play styles, if you do dungeons you're gonna need better gear, if you dont do dungeons and just craft you're gonna need to get you're crafts up and get better tools, so on and so forth catch my drift? So i'm not saying that getting gear shouldnt be important of course it is. Oh and what's RNG?

What is the point of coming in a thread asking about an endgame monk's gear. Just to give your opinion on how worthless you think gear is because you don't do endgame? You don't want to go after gear that's fine go have fun. But its pointless to come into this thread and give your opinion to someone who clearly wants to to endgame.

H2h does count. I went a different route of weapon, body, legs, waist, feet since I use militia earrings and want every bit of -emnity I can get.

This thread isn't about play styles and never was. It's about someone asking how to gear MNK for endgame.
The person clearly wants to do endgame. So is looking for advice on gear. You clearly do not so have no advice on gear. So why did you come in at all?

It was completely pointless for you to come in here and 1st say gear was worthless. Because you can do the same damage as someone with the best gear on. (which you can't) Then say you're not going after gear Because its being replaced. If you want to have that play style that's fine have fun. But Seriously Why did you come in a thread that is asking for gear for a play style completely different from yours?
