Its not free though is it...I'm not saying I wanted it this way I would of liked something more to do but I am sort of glad it isn't a FATE grind or run these 4 dungeons...having the option to pick what I want to do is better than forcing me to do something in the existing pool. Raids and tomestones also are completely outside the concept of relics so your argument is flawed and your statement hyperbole.

id rather have this than grind 500000000 normal raids/alliance raids/trials

you basically get to choose what content you run

Honestly they could watch people who work in character design and environmental art with degrees and experience in the field tell you its beyond what modders can do and still be in their denial phase so I am used to it XD

I asked for an ARR or HW relic with different types of steps taking us outdoors and into old content, but this is not it. It's as if the devs are being spiteful about people disliking two expansions worth of instanced fates and just went "Fine!! No effort for you. Enjoy nothing but tome grinding!!" The developer who made Bozja must have run out of ideas when they got told not to make another Bozja, so they just repeated the first stage of the Bozjan quest line everyone considered too easy.

Astro tome mats aren't worth that much anymore imo. You can make more just buying it off the MB and turning it into mats for current gear compared to selling your capped tomes to someone who's giving you a bad deal to begin with. Even still, there are better ways to make money that take an hour or less of effort a day. I gave up trying to sell tomes when I realized I can make 50-100m a week or so through the MB.

Personally, I hardly care, I am very objective and result driven when it comes to relics, it doesn't matter what I have to do for the shiny, I just want it to be shiny.

I am sure that regardless what the step was, people would complain, different people to be sure, but they would, so it is a lose-lose situation no matter how you look at it.

first they complained they had to do content (eureka), then they complained again that they had to do the significantly easier and faster content (bozja) and now they complain that there is no "content" (farming fates forever or running xyz raid/dungeon ad nauseum)
