I don't rp, but Balmung is my server. There are plenty of other people who don't like this influx of trolls either besides just the rpers. And even if I don't rp, if the rpers aren't bothering anyone else, why not let them be? Why must they be harassed for something they like to do and when they complain they are being harassed, told to get over it?

Plus, not to mention, the "bad rap" we get are actually from people from other servers. 90% of the erpers on Balmung are Wanderers or Travelers from other servers who want to just add to our "rap" and not their own server. It's like going to someone else's home and stinking up their bathroom and then telling everyone else that their home stinks...

Your mere presence as a non-balmung player is what is undesired apparently. Because load times are slow in some zones its making the people there mad and they think they can demand special treatment even though the data center travel stuff will die down in a few more days.

Also, it's been around for years. I've been playing for over two now and it was something I learned my first week on Primal. If you genuinely have been unaware this entire time that your server is the ERP capital of all the NA DCs....that's some rock you found a home under.

At the end of the day cross data center play has been requested by the MAJORITY of players, specifically the raiding community. You may not like it, but it will die down. Ultimately the main blame right now for Balmung being so congested is the Billboard stunt pulled of by members of the balmung community. Blame them. And if you don't know what it is, google FFXIV billboard and find out what that Balmung RP FC did.

And I ask again, when did this "rep" start up? I been there since 2013. Before it got out of hand as it is now. You act like I specifically chose the server recently, not knowing what I was getting into. And even back then, it was only labeled as the official rp server which players of were scarce and far in-between, not like it is now.

Yes, I am aware of that, but LIKE I SAID, I was defending the original posters feelings of being harassed, and yes, they specifically said harassed from other people trolling and interrupting their playtime. That is ALL I WAS DOING. And then suddenly everyone wants to JUMP DOWN MY THROAT just because I'm trying to validate the feelings of the original poster who was being DISMISSED just because they happen to be on Balmung?

No the main culprit is large parts of the community being toxic a holes. It's amazing how folks will dogpile and jump on others to harass without a care in the world and have others co sign on it. It's also crazy that people blame Balmung players for simply being there as if it's there fault.

Also yall do realize the term naked just means they aren't equipped with anything yes? Doesn't mean folks are modding

Pull your internet connection and kill it so it takes you to the login screen. I had to do that back in EW when the queue congestion was a nightmare and got trapped in World travel.

This. Thank you. The original poster specifically said that others from other server were interrupting rp by dancing on them without clothes. If that isn't harassment, I dont know what is. But because other people don't get or don't like rp, it's "not their problem" and those who have issues need to "get over it." Or "quit."
