[Critical] Male Viera height slider; tall option. Show your support.

I don’t necessarily want them taller then female Viera, would just like their heights to be similar. A mix of taller females and males and the same with shorter.

Just having the option to be taller if they're on the shorter side isn't wrong though? Ideally they wouldn't be taller than max height viera tbh.

What do people gain by preventing males to be taller? All males in XIV are taller than females, as they imitate real life. When creating male Viera it shouldn't follow the Au ra design philosophy. The real topic of discussion is a wide range slider that allows for males to be short like Hyur but also as tall as Elezen or tall in general. Tall male options are very limited. Limited to orc, animal, reptile with horns, and 1 semi normal giraffe. There's no real normal option for us, male Viera would finally be the option for an attractive tall option just like female Viera was an attractive tall female option.

I know there's a lot of RP'rs around or people who want to fetishize being taller than the males but the game isn't played solely by RPrs. A lot of us just want the option to make characters that look like ourselves; on the tall side it's very hard to do that.

Because people who want them shorter get to be shorter.... and people who want them taller can also get them to be taller?

I'm literally just poking fun at the people who said viera were unattractive and gross for being so tall. I think it's funny that people wanted them to be shorter, thus more "feminine", but now it's Males Need To Be Tall. It's an interesting standard, no?

1: requesting this is fine but .. calling it "Critical" seems a bit much.

In-game height doesn't equal real-life height. Yes, male Midlanders can reach up to 5'11" and female Au Ra can reach up to 5'2". In real-life, these would be common heights for people.

However, when you factor in that other races exist (Roegadyn, Elezen, male Au Ra, Hrothgar, etc) that reach well over 6'3", it makes male Midlanders seem short by comparison. While male Midlanders make up a good portion of the population, they're on the shorter side when it comes to the racial height chart.

If male Viera end up taller than the females (like most races in this game), they're still going to be average in comparison to the other races. Elezen, male Au Ra, Hrothgar, and Roegadyn would all be taller than male Viera. So just because male Viera may be taller than Midlanders and Miqo'te doesn't mean they're hulking tall men.

I don't get why anyone would say they're gross for being tall, Imo Viera is a lot more mature choice than miqote or even au ra which are more of a anime schoolgirl aesthetic even going down to the emotes, so I dunno. I think since they're the same race however they should be more of a pair, I don't really care about their height compared to other races, and if they're around same-ish height then most people get to be happy.

True if you don't like thoose 4 you won't have a choice but i could say if you don't want a normal human (hyur), you are stuck to miqo.
I'm not saying your proposition wont work at all, it all depends on what is the mid size. If it's 190, max would be 205cm and min 175cm. It's okay for ppl who want small boys (if we forget about ppl who want aura size) but maybe not for ppl who want it very tall. If the mid is 200cm, max is 215cm (good size for tall players), min 185cm : already a turnoff for ppl who want it small.

And i'm not saying you should agree it's just another pov. In the end there's always be someone who won't like what we get but it's okay.
