Yes they are and yes it will. I mean, it will surely hit sales if there isn't something juicy and attractive to the xpac, let's be honest now.
And people love new jobs.

Hm, by this logic, SE is not obligated to add anything we know so far every expansion... They have to add something, since they're selling a product, but nothing dictates exactly what it is.

For example, Hildebrand probably wouldn't have continued but its popularity is what causes it to continue, and of course that becomes a selling point because of quests involving the new areas.Quote:

I kind of wonder, at what point will we start seeing less jobs?
Animating and rigging the multiple races for the multiple animations that every single job gets each expansion is no easy feat.
That said, I'm very happy for 2 jobs every expansion and I'd love a curve ball of even 3 sometime. -
03-01-2021, 08:55 PMlinayarThat is correct logic.Quote:

So Endwalker promises 6.0 and 6.1 (with the new story for MSQ as well), but that's about it. Plans can still change, as we've seen. -

03-01-2021, 09:08 PMlinayarWithout a new job, you still have new max level and new AF gear and new abilities for the current jobs to play the expansion. No new job is not the same as no new expansion, or even no new tool.Quote:

03-01-2021, 09:24 PMlinayarWhat's next is irrelevant. Deal with each issue separately. You can still have an expansion without a new job.Quote:

A new expansion requires new MSQ/story/quests/battle content. Everything else is cherry on top of that cake that is the expansion, but is not the cake itself. -
03-01-2021, 09:45 PMAnnRamThat's basically what a "patch" it's and what we currently get every 3-4 months, they introduce new raids, MSQ, change logs, small raids , fixes etc. Of course the content (MSQ) added by patches aren't huge as a new expansion.Quote:
