My feedback? This is the best zone/relic grind so far.

Can mount right away, frequent spawns of FATEs and CI's, and very convenient to move around as well.

My only complaint is the lack of mettle from regular enemies and that it's a bit low in general. But I understand, it's being done to intentionally pad the amount of time it take to level up. But that's fine, fix that and my only complaints about the zone will be gone.

I did Bozja for 2-3 hours last night and got 5 memories. I did HW fates today and got the remaining 55 in 2 hours, tops.

The disparity is so large that there's functionally no reason to do Bozja for the relic. And as someone like myself, who already has all the battle jobs at 80, that leaves little else to be gained from Bozja. Sure, there are mounts and minions but that's about it--and those aren't even market prohibited so I could literally buy the Gabriel mount on my server right now for just 3 million gil, and I'm sure it'll only get cheaper as the days progress.

So for me, and a lot of other players who already have all their jobs leveled, why should I even bother with new content when they've made it so much easier to do it by easier means?

I would not mind if it was on par, honestly I was shocked it was even considered a good option lol. However, that it was such a good option made me think that it was entirely intentional decision based on the fact there was value already in doing Bozja. Like if I gave you two choices- do fates in Bozja and two goodies or do FATEs not in Bozja and get only one goody..? Seems kind of silly. They're both FATEs and one clearly would give you way more value.

I agree with you about the disparity, I don't think it should be that large either.

I agree that there is something off in the balance (I technically say that too in the other post :p), I was just trying to explain that there is absolutely a situation where a lever that gives only one thing could and entirely logically give more of that 'one' thing that the lever that gives two things.

If we keep using the lever analogy lol:

Lever Bozja: 8 Apples 1 lemon

Lever HW FATEs: 9 or 10 Apples 0 lemons

I don't think such a situation would be unreasonable, given that HW FATEs are largely useless unless you reaaaaallly want to level your job that way (honestly just caused me shivers though lol, Bozja exp is way better exp than normal FATEs :p).

It wouldn't be awful if they were equal, it would mean however unequivocally the only reason to do HW FATEs is because you dislike Bozja and that it wasn't balanced for anything other than a concession for "not liking Bozja". That I don't think it's illogical to have made it not be a concession but fairly balanced (which I think we both agree right now the balance is off, but if HW ends with 8.5 9 apples and Bozja 8 apples I don't think it's entirely illogical so long as you accept that SE isn't making Bozja a strong requirement and would like to give people multiple valid, non-concession, options).

+1 and we definitely agree at least on 98% of what's going on (maybe 100%, I definitely think Bozja needs to be far more closer to HW FATEs I just don't think it 'has' to turn HW FATEs into a concession choice, just make them better balanced levers).

A completely unbalanced way of farming the relic between bozja and the overworld,
3 hours in the overworld only for a relic, while in the content specially dedicated to the relic I only drop 16 shards
in a full afternoon.

Dev need to fix it .

I like Bozja a lot. Lore stuff to collect, fun and engaging battles, new gameplay systems and abilities and the 1v1 is amazing. Really want to get my hands on these potions and experiment. It's a very big step in the right direction. Finally something to do outside of raiding.

Lost Death on star ranks has got to go unless Death is made to no longer count for contribution. Love getting 10% into a pull then someone outside your party LDs it so nobody but the LD party and the pull party gets anything.

Another issue I have with Bozja, that I'm sure has been touched upon, is that ranking up doesn't feel satisfying.

Elemental levels felt like they changed my experience in Eureka each time. Different levels meant I had to kill different mobs for my challenge log. Leveling up meant I could safely traverse areas I had to be careful in before. It meant that I could eventually ride a mount. It meant I could participate in more fates.

Leveling in Bozja just doesn't have the same impact at all. It feels like such a nonevent.

Story progress is certainly the greatest concern I have.

The first part of Bazja story quest that will give players access to the next Map and etc is basically a Alliance Raid with the members only being picked from the players within the current instance you are in.

As content gets old this number will greatly decrease thus eventually it may become impossible to progress in the Resistance storyline due to lack of players that are Rank 10+ within Bozja unless the player can rally a group of players that can access that content and get into a Bozja instance that has enough players to meet the expected 24 Players or more that are Rank 10 or higher.

They should have designed the Castrum to be a normal Alliance Raid dungeon for the Resistance storyline that can be queued up at anytime using players from the entire data center so it can always meet the required 24 or more players even when the Resistance storyline becomes older to a point not many will be in Bozja or its future maps anymore.

There are people who are trying to organize groups now for Castrum but the issue is by how Castrum is designed to be accessed being it will only use players in the same instance so if you're in a instance with low amount of players that are Rank 10+ then chances are you can't join Castrum.

This will be a growing issue later in the game's life when certain amount of players no longer enter Bozja anymore because they either have already moved on to the next map or can't get into a instance where there are enough R10 or higher players in that instance.

Already been in several instances that have atleast 2 or 3 groups of 8 party players trying to organize a alliance raid team for Castrum but can't pass 22 to 24 players due to half of the instance lower than Rank 10 due to player instancing algorithms

It is due to this kind of issue why I think they should have just put Castrum in the Duty Finder since depending on players who are only in the same instance means there is a risk that the player is randomly put into a instance of Bozja that may not have enough Rank 10 or higher Players to complete Castrum.

I'm only half kidding. I refused to touch this Eureka nonsense last expansion too. Of the very few things I miss about MMOs I played 10+ years ago, grinding boring field mobs until my fingers cramped isn't one of them. I haven't the faintest idea why anyone would want to play Korean Grinder MMO Simulator 2020. You wanted tedium and low drop rates, you got 'em. Careful what you wish for.
