That "Formula" in which Square Enix designs Jobs lately is from my point of view, the biggest issue which currently almost all Jobs face (except for melee jobs to a certain degree since they still feel somewhat unique from one another). All the Jobs within a Role feel too similar from one another despite the "gimmicks" which theyre hiding behind. All i am hoping for is that the Jobs feel like actual Jobs, and not a role, or in this topics case, i want your chemist to be a chemist and not just the "4th healer role". I am aware that what i am saying means to rework the Jobs almost from scratch if it would be implimented. Don't get me wrong, i am not saying that your idea is bad in any sense and it looks solid on paper (aside maybe from a bit of potency adjustments maybe) but i can't say it often enough that our current Jobs feel rather bland.
