I went in to the patch notes with zero expectations and still I was disappointed.

Lovely, they nerfed our AoE (WHM) for less than 4 targets.

This is a bit of a baffling change. It makes WHM DPS a bit weaker in raids where two targets come up - it probably doesn't really matter, but AST is already stronger at the high end. On the flipside, WHM is now even better in dungeons, where it did not need any help at all...

I'm clueless as to what SE was thinking with this.

And that would only be true if tanks will do more than one mob pull at a time. It is strange that that they would make this change.

In practice it seems it is a buff. It seems like it is 75% damage of initial target, not 25% like the patch notes seemed to indicate. I was doing 55k on initial hit, 40k+ on other targets.

I had a feeling there wouldn't be changes. Am I disappointed? Yes. Angry? Not really. More of the lines of frustrated but I've been busy with the content to really care much about it. I've come to terms of we're gonna have to wait and be patient if we want things to get done. What got me was there was a change to black mage/ WHM than AST. I thought that was really shocking.

The patch notes say it's 25% LESS, so they indeed indicate it's 75%. But it was 90% and 80% on the second and third, is it is indeed less, for those targets.

They nerfed lily for 2-3 targets. At 4 to more you deal more dmg. That makes you weaker in fights were are multi bosses that are close to eatch other ( the only cases this expansion is in TEA cruiser chaser and brute justice phase or old tied with eden prime adds) so they made it dungeon stronger on mass pulls. The same with blm
