Whats the cool thing about...

Most of my outfits are normal looking, but I do wear the Viera RSE on my DNC and gatherers. I guess for me it’s because it’s fun to wear something you would never dare to in the real world.

First, i dont care if the horse is dead, alive or its making the new Bojack Horseman season. If you dont like to see some kind of topics or you find them repetitive you can just not enter or leave. Easy, right?

Second, thank you for clarifying that there are people with different tastes. The topic is about what they think or what brings them to those who dress their female characters in a certain way. Again, if you don't like it, close on the way out. I don't need any more forum cops to tell me that a topic has been repeated or blablablabla.

And to finish, being a Japanese game with oriental aesthetics it's obvious that it's going to bring mostly weebs. That's why some dress the characters as their favorite pillow. I think it's easy to understand.

In my own topic I say that I myself have created female characters. So I can't find it bad or weird, what I do find strange is that most players have that taste for half-naked or wearing characters that are tanks, for example, with miniskirts and bikinis.

But I say again that the topic is about knowing their points of view. I'm not judging who does it because I don't pay their monthly fee and I'm not interested in looking into other people's lives that deeply tho.

This just proves my point though as we all know female cosmetics are typically more "sexy" while male cosmetics are usually more practical or cool. No matter how many times people try to explain this is it just normally boils down to "I like staring at women because obvious reasons". I'm attracted to males, I don't really make male chars (I have on occasion) because I'm not animalistic (for lack of a better word) and I don't get excited by pixels.

But that's their argument that "I don't want to look at male butt all day" during any type of content you shouldn't be that zoomed in. Even when just afking around town, I personally am not that zoomed in to where my character's butt is center screen...it's weird.



I mean that would make sense if they weren't in bikinis and will only play female characters, at that point there's a bit more to it. Dudes that mix it up, have themes in mind, certain RP things etc aren't the type of dudes that's being discussed here. I used to know a few guys that would play nothing but female characters no matter the game, if it was a gender locked game and their class wasn't female they wouldn't play. These are the type of dudes I'm talking about.



Trying to say people that play lalafells and dress them normally are the same as dudes that will only play female characters and put them in bikinis or use nude mods aren't even remotely the same.

In the end, males that will only play female characters to play "sexy dress up barbie" are just weird imo and is why a lot of women just side eye dudes in general.

I want to clear the lala point by saying that's pretty much what you just did. I know not every player playing a lala is a pedo, BUT there are people who fall into that group, just like there are men who fall into the group you're calling odd. I'm only saying not ALL of them do that. And was only making a point, also as a side, NOONE is playing what they actually are as lala's, miqos etc don't exist in real life at all. So by that logic.. we're all lying here.

You say it's odd.. WHY? Why is it odd people pick other genders to use in a video game. Even if its because they want to drool at their character... it's THEIR character. If they want to run around in bikinis who cares? I will never understand the judgement people have over others in areas where it doesn't matter what they do at all. The only thing we as players should be worried about as far as other people is.. their skill level. And that has NOTHING to do with what they are glammed or gendered too.

You know what I mean tho. Yeah Lalas aren't in every game BUT all a lala is really is a very small young looking character. And those are in almost every game. Is it the best example.. no and I'll freely admit that. But my point was that blanket judgement is covering ALOT of people who aren't those pervs you were talking about. I'm not sitting here clanking out turn tables with my hand cause my character is some pink haired miqo.

I dunno, I might be taking too much offense to this and I'll admit to that. But it hits close to home cause as I think I mentioned I have friends who do nothing but complain that I use female characters in mmos. And they hate my reasons, which are men/dudes/guys are boring as hell to me. I'm a guy in real life and have NO interest in looking at them for prolong periods of time no matter how zoomed in or out the camera is. If I have a choice I'll always pick the more appealing option. And not because I'm some incel that can't real life. And I'm willing to bet there are alot of guys like me then the pervs who makes all of us look bad. I'm not saying they don't exist... but every time this topic comes up it's ALL people bring up. It gets old.
