Between materia and the replica materials? Yes. for long enough to matter. Restoration crafting is significantly easier and less cordial intensive than white and yellow scrip gathering, and is less rng reliant until the last set of gatherer gear comes out in 5.3. Plus, at this rate, itll be a week or week and a half and we'll be waiting on the 5.2 content to land (at which time I can only assume people will be racing to not be locked out of diadem).

yep with this and blue mage already being disapointing see you all in 5.2!

You can do the fate as gatherer. You obtain all materials as gatherer. You can purchase gatherer specific materia with the scrips. The only thing held out is actual gatherer turn ins which they said at least 3 times would be coming in 5.2.

Crafters can do all that AND have turn-ins save for gathering materials themselves. Thanks to undercutting that's a matter of pennies for them now.

Ya I want actual proof that he actually said this bc there is no way he can track any of use using discord. In fact, all it takes is for me to go from Ishgard to Ishgard and write down the times until each fate and map it out. Do that once or twice a day and I can feesibly have a good Ishgard fate train for myself. And on the other hand, if he did this to help a small server like mine, I doubly mad bc I do not and did not want a hundred people from Balmung blocking me out of my own server event.

You don’t need to see anything from Discord, they can see people from other servers crowding the Firmament in their server logs
