Actually, most end-game players are more than likely done with Sigmascape by the time it's uncapped, lol. Most raiders already have all that they need and usually end up taking a small hiatus from the game.

Rathalos farming is meant to be fun, but you also don't get to fight him till you reach High Rank. So that's why the content is meant to be a bit more challenging than a Great Jagras fight. They picked a monster meant to be a bit more difficult. If they wanted to, they could've gone with Nergigante out of the gate. But it's a balanced fight with both being somewhat difficult, and also a thinking game with some easily notice-able moves.
Reddit has an entire thread about how the fight works. There's already videos on youtube to give you a better overall idea. I've put out videos on my twitch just because people wanted to see how it worked with tanks. This content, is no different than learning any other extreme fight. The only difference is that the moves aren't said in the target window, and no telegraphs to prompt you. You have to stop using the FFXIV boss method, and think like you did before you could look up things on the internet for research. Think outside the box!
I mostly agree with you, but the one thing that I'm confused on is how BLM spellspeed affects the ability of dodging mechanics. I can't tell if you're insinuating that with enough spellspeed, it's possible to cast and slidecast easier/faster while in the midst of dodging said mechanics (which would be correct, yes) or if you think that with enough spellspeed, a BLM can miraculously start running faster, lol.
I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Anyone can dodge but some classes are punished more than others for doing that. It's far easier for a rdm to have good uptime on a high mobility fight than a blm. A blm can do it but the skill level required to is far higher than for a rdm. It's laughably easy on a brd or mch. You'd have to play one-handed to be unable to do it on brd and mch. So depending on your group make-up as well as the skill level and gear of the team, the need to dodge may reduce dps uptime very noticeably.
BLM casts aren't bad in terms of speed of the cast bar. If you have high enough SS, dodging mechanics should be almost non existent. If you don't do endgame (or had before), where BLM still required moving pre HW and post SB, you still dodge as much as you continue to cast regardless. You shouldn't need to use sprint most of the time in the fight against rathalos. If you pay attention enough to how he looks at the players, moving side to side and casting shouldn't be an issue. Rathalos Ex is, again, no different than any other Ex fight, in that you still need to move around quite a bit in most scenarios, but you don't complain about those. You just can't see the telegraphed movements. That's all it is.
I can understand that there are a lot of people who only play 1 job, and that job only. But, might be a idea to consider playing and trying out other jobs? Adapt and overcome?
Why are you assuming I am playing with bad players? I didn't even complain about the people I played with nor did I mention their classes. I simply stated some classes have an easier time dodging and maintaining good uptime on a high mobility encounter than others...and this somehow means I play with bad people?
Do you enjoy putting people down so much that you fabricate reasons to do so?
Unlike yokai or moonfire this event is permanent. So any burnout you're experiencing while undergeared/still learning is completely on you, you could either keep going or wait til you're ridiculously over geared and come back
If you're upset it isn't handed to you on launch. .. again that's on you.
