"Iraq has nuclear weapons of destruction."
Seems legit.

Im really sorry to hear that you are having this issue and definately not on. It is so Sad to see SE falling by the way side. I dont see any other "High Profile Game" out there Lord of the Ring's World of Warcraft having thease problem. It is Time SE take some lesson's and councel from these great Game makers that do not Suffer from these issue's and they make is look so easy. One thing Im seeing about SE is "they are very good at messing up and Appologising" but when it comes to Fixing a problem , they have no idea how to go about it. and this is Very Amature for a High profile Company. Get A Grip SE its about Time!!
@Sigul, when the bank re-opens to verify bank account, if the currency exchange rates don't match up properly. You may consider a prepaid Master Card and registering instead of going back and forth with ClickAndBuy with faxing and/or scanning letters and IDs.
i used master card, didn't need to verify anything :)
but the second SE adds new options (IF THEY ADD) i'll change my payment method.
While i can sympathize w/ you your odds of getting them to do anything are about 1 in a shits chance.
On a side note im surprised people in Saudi Arabia are able to even play online games. Isnt that the country where girls arnt allowed to ride bikes and male/female people cant go shopping together unless they are married.? And rock music is illegal? Maybe im wrong but orz. I dont know why you would want to deal w/ click n buy to begin w/ they are a horrible company. My bank wont event let me use them they are rated so poorly and untrustworthy w/ peoples account security.
If its a mastercard or a visacard it already has verified by visa status or added internet security status regardless of the bank u just have ot register it online. Thought you may still not have been able to use it because the vendor which you are using the card for is sometimes still blocked by certain banks. You can ask the bank to allow the vendor to have permission to charge and they can change it in there system but usually bank employees dont know how to go about it. Verified by Visa and Mastercard are outdated underutilized systems that shoulda been scrapped long ago most online vendors do not bother to use them anyways. Ive made hundreds of online purchases and never had to confirm my order throught Visa or Mastercard.
I already have a VISA, its just that I have to get my account verified first with C&B then get my bank to allow them to withdraw money from my bank.
@Hikozaemon: I assume you heard from the wrong people about my country, though don't wanna turn this thread about talking about countries lol, just to add to that I played FFXI since release, my FFXI version is JP, WoW, Aion, Warhammer, went through all games till end game, so yeah, and we do have a large community of gamers here in Saudi, basically with all honestly, its probably the only thing you can do around here anyways.
This is just me being curious, but is it possible to avoid the verification step through some sort of "not now" option? It's just that I managed to avoid it somehow and I don't know if it's avoidable for everyone or just something to do with Australia's financial regulations.
After all, ClickandBuy would be dealing with my bank via MASTERCARD rather than my bank directly (it's billing a credit card, not a bank transfer), so they shouldn't actually need to verify anything with my bank. The first billing then becomes the "verification" of sorts - if it doesn't bounce and they get the correct amount then they'll know it is fine. But as I said, this might just be Australia's GFC-resistingly oddness coming through.
