What features from other games would you enjoy in FFXIV?

huh... no one's said mythic+? because m+ is great and would make me actually care for rerunning dungeons. atm i just don't go into them as i'm either bored of not having my lv 70 skills or bored of the same 3 dungeons at once, none of which are really challenging.

GW2's dye system. It's simply the best I've seen in an MMORPG (out of the MMORPGs I've played, at least).

Also the GW2 "fate" system; the world feels truly alive, and exploring it is a real adventure. I haven't seen any other MMORPG accomplish that like GW2 does. If Eorzea were like that, it'd be godly ;w;

I also wouldn't say no to a huge, seamless world, but I understand that having different maps might make it easier for the devs to create different looking areas.

Then Blizzard Entertainment has been unprofessional for the last 13 years or so. They have been snatching up ideas from other MMOs for years.

WoW 1.0 was literally built by snatching things from other MMOs that came before it. The issue is MMO wasn't really mainstream back then so hardly anyone called them on it.

In a MMO I used to play, there was an official in-game cooking competition, and fashion contests.
I don't think the cooking would work here, but it would be very cool to see something similar!
Also; panels for dying different parts of the same clothing piece.

Any kind of content that is worth paying my sub more than a week at every patch maybe...?

Honestly I would have liked a clear definition of the dungeon quality gear, its like a hodge podge of gear now. if they all dropped the green quality gear only it would have set apart dungeon gear from world and quest gear along with the raid gear.

White/Aetherial = world/quest gear
Green = Dungeons
Blue = Raid/Tomestone

Horizontal endgame progression where you're not restricted to Savage Raid and Relic for the best in slot. Like I wish there were gear that augmented our job's abilities, and merit points. So, yeah XI stuff.

Xenoverse lets you relive iconic fights in Dragonball history, perhaps they could do something like that for completed duties where some rogue Ascian is trying to alter history, it'd be it's own storyline. Even some 1.0 stuff.

More futuristic gearsets like PSO, heck a dual pistol job would be cool.

Unpopular opinion, but puzzle themed dungeons like Legend of Zelda. I liked the Water Temple, so there.

Saints Row and GTA you could listen to music in a vehicle via radio, perhaps we could get a mount that lets us use our orchestration rolls? This would risk making current mounts nigh obsolete save for bragging rights on a few.

I really want to see Dynamis from FFXI.
