SCH opinons on the change

Please enlighten me. How are you managing to get AoE buffs up every 30 seconds? You must be RNGsus himself, and magically hack in 2 card draws every cast too.

No, no no no. Of all the cards in your deck, "We have RNG so that makes us balanced" is not one of them. You cannot keep playing it.
Everybody in this game is subjected to RNG. WHMs have cure procs. SCHs (had, and now don't, for some reason) their spellspeed proc. You have your Pokémon cards that promise you a raid slot. You are not a special snowflake. Everybody deals with RNG. Taking away your one RNG mechanic where sometimes you aren't given super great buffs does not belay the fact your class is extremely potent.

I hope they changed the animation for Miasma II. Considering on three mobs or more it's a DPS gain over Broil by just spamming it, it would feel awkward as hell to spam the old Miasma II animation for some reason :P. I honestly think its bad design. Should have just been a 150 potency raw hit.

I am sorry for my wording. I did not mean that AST can have those buffs up every 30 seconds, but it is possible. Chain strategem has a 2 min cooldown and only lasts 15 seconds. WHM has nothing like either one. It is wrong for AST to possibly be able to buff like this along with having heals as strong as WHM and stronger shields. SCH has never had heals as strong as WHM, even with fairy.

And yet most progressing world groups will run SCH + WHM over AST combos... I wonder why that is. There is absolutely a reason to bring SCH, but the fact that you have completely dismissed their impact altogether shows how useless it is to argue with you.

It's hard to take you seriously given that you play the one class that dominated the end of the previous expansion. Sorry that you're having such a rough time competing against Astrologians. Sorry we stole the Scholar thunder... Perhaps if you complain and cry enough between Reddit, discord, and here, SE will get tired of it and give you everything you've ever wanted in this game.

Back to the point of this thread, I will be trying to new Scholar changes out as soon as the servers go live. Can't wait!

I made 1 post and you refuse to argue with me? I didn't even know I was arguing with you lol. SCH is not what it used to be and neither is AST.

And I'm sure you never complained about how bad AST was in the last expansion either. For someone who's played all three classes you certainly seem to be painfully biased. But hey, I'm sure belittling anybody who doesn't agree with your opinion will make you feel better about yourself. I guess. When things actually are balanced between the three classes, people won't complain. These threads exist because they aren't. Get over it.

I think you are completely misunderstanding why scholars are complaining. It is great that AST is no longer that job that no one wanted to take, and yes SCH did need some nerfs, but you have to realize that SCH was nerfed too much and all these nerfs did was bring out the flaws that were always there - clunky fairy, low potency heals, clunky skills. These things were overlooked because SCH was able to heal while providing a good source of DPS and damage mitigation. No other job could fill that spot. Things are different now though. The DPS is not high like it was, the fairy cannot heal as much, but the mitigation is still there. SCH is being forced to play like a WHM, but they don't have the healing power of a WHM.
