I would say ACC might be a useful meld but it's hard to say until we see 4.0 patch notes.

Yeah that is apparently the largest change, and given the way they described it...
It may have a larger chunk of play in Stormblood.
It sounded like there's the new "decisive blow" on top of a normal critical hit, and that is determined by accuracy or what replaces accuracy.
I caught something about them both being possible in one strike so you could get both of them at once. It would make Crit and whatever replaces Accuracy key gear.
So I do wonder how that will play into things.
Do we need a thread just for Silverquick to argue about SMN? It feels like any thread could suddenly be about SMN if you say the right (or wrong) things.
Honestly, most of this thread, which was focused on BLM melds, is now about SMN. This thread could've been resolved in ~30 posts top but somehow SMN became a part of it.
Again.
You've never done anything past 11s, and even now we have ECHO.
You have no logs with your name on them.
It'd be fine if you melded piety and then played it without preaching it, but you preaching melding piety as a SMN, and actually preaching that it's the best is beyond absurd.
If you have no idea of what you're talking about, keep it to yourself.
Actually, the "getting jumped" in this thread was done by you and not to you, and after that tone was set things went downhill very quickly. Being disagreed with does not equate to being attacked or jumped on. People are allowed to disagree, especially when they have a reasoned argument to support why. The paraphrased progress of the conversation went:
Silverquick: "Piety is a stat I put on my Summoner because I can get an extra Ruin 3 and never run out of mp."
Neela: "I don't know why you would say that. Using SPS instead you can put an extra buffed Ruin 3 in during DWT while getting the extra DoT/pet damage, and still never run out of mana with good aetherflow management. Please don't spread bad advice about piety being a better stat than sps/crit." [Editor's note: She actually did use the word please, so I'm not implying tone here.]
Silverquick: <out of place ad hominem attacks on Neela's character while propping up your self-declared excellence instead of providing support to your claim>
You know... I just realized what that reminds me of. Replace "Silverquick" with "Trump", and "Neela" with "The Media" and it's the same pattern of behaviour.
Anywho, the BLM question has long since been answered multiple times, so hopefully this thread can be locked. But until then... /popcorn.
